BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Scott Martin Petersen currently serves as the program director for the OBGYN residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He has previously held multiple military and hospital leadership positions to include Assistant Chief of OBGYN, Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, OBGYN consultant for deployed forces, and his recent service as the President of the Medical Staff from 2012-2013. His current research and clinical interests include resident education, global maternal health, and advances in prenatal diagnosis and therapy. He has teaching duties and the rank of Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine in Bethesda, MD.
