Dr. Amleh has been a research fellow at the laboratory of cellular and developmental biology, NIDDK, and a research associate at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, USA. She has also been an instructor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, Institute of Biotechnology, at the University of Texas Health Science Center and a senior research scientist at the Developmental Biology Program, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NY. She has received numerous awards and fellowships in various institutes. She published many articles.
Dr. Amleh’s current research efforts are focused on two main areas.
- The first is to define genetic markers implicated in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. The primary goal of this research is to allow her research team to establish prognostic and diagnostic markers.
