Prevalence and Risk factors of Stunting and Wasting among Under-Five-Aged Children in North Gondar Zone, Northern Ethiopia
Undernutrition is a leading cause of disease susceptibility, morbidity, and mortality in children. It is manifested in the form
of stunting and wasting. Wasting is an acute form of undernutrition that indicates a recent food shortage and/or infectious
diseases that lead to rapid and severe weight loss. The current study aimed to assess the prevalence and associated factors of
stunting and wasting among under-five-aged children of displaced families in the North Gondar Zone. A cross-sectional
study design was conducted from January to March 2022 among the under-five-aged children of the displaced family. A total of 205 randomly selected under-five-aged children from the displaced families were included in the study. A structured
questionnaire was used to collect data, and the instrument was adopted from a previous study. Anthropometric measurements were carried out to determine the status of stunting and wasting. A bivariable and multivariable logistic regression
analysis was used to find the factors associated with stunting and wasting. The prevalence of stunting and wasting among under-five-aged children was 26.2% and 18.7%, respectively. Out of the risk factors considered in the present study, age (AOR
= 3.54; 95% CI: 0.2–3.54), family monthly income (AOR = 3.6; 95% CI: 1.3–7.5), eating only two meals per day (AOR = 2.8;
95% CI: 1.0–6.2), and not eating farm animal products (AOR = 2.2; 95% CI: 0.5–1.61) were important risk factors associated
with stunting. In the other way, age, family monthly income, and eating only two meals per day were significant predictors
of wasting. The result showed that the prevalence is severe in the study area. Therefore, the government should work on children under two years of age, take action to solve the nutritional issues, and encourage families with low monthly incomes to
eat animal products at least once a week and nutritious food at least three times a day

Accidental Ammonia Gas Leakage in a Cold Storage : A Case Report
: Ammonia is corrosive and exposure will result in a chemical-type burn. It is highly hygroscopic and readily
transforms the moist areas of the body such as eyes, nose, throat, and moist skin areas. It is a highly toxic irritant gas, and its
toxicity usually occurs from occupational exposure, most are unintentional toxicity. It causes tissue damage via exothermic
reaction with body tissues causing liquefactive necrosis. Release of ammonia has potentially for harmful effects on workers
and the public. Although there have been incidents of exposure to harmful concentrations of ammonia in the world there
have been few fatal accidents.Presentation depends on the level and duration of exposure. Management is supportive and its
antidote is not available yet

radiological and pathological criteria for cervical cancer staging.

31.4 percent, and 40.6 percent were in the 50 to 60 yrs range

Improving Existing Waste Management Practices: Comparing the Effectiveness of Recycling Systems Between a Private International School and a Public School
Despite Taiwan’s title as one of the most efficient recycling systems, individual recycling habits contribute to these efficient recycling systems. Despite Taiwan’s successful strategy of demolishing waste through incineration, improper recycling at a grassroots level, such as students’ municipal solid waste recycling habits, result in recycling contamination, and improper
waste recycling could lead to the release of toxic fumes into the atmosphere. This study compares the recycling practices and recycle bin setups of a public school and a private international school to determine important factors that could contribute to decreasing waste recycled improperly. The results show that immediate feedback if a student recycled improperly
as well as clear recycling signs were essential factors to decrease recycling mistakes.
Evaluation of a Theory-Based Behavior Change Intervention to Increase HIV Self-Testing Uptake and Linkage to HIV Prevention, Care, and Treatment Among Hard-to-Reach Populations in Northern Tanzania
Introduction: Tanzania aims for 95% of persons living with HIV (PLHIV) to know their serostatus by 2023.
Methods: An uncontrolled before-after study design was conducted between March 2018 (pre-intervention phase) and July 2018 (post-intervention phase). A total of 183 participants (males=89; females=94) were recruited for this study. Data were collected at baseline and at the one-month and three-month follow-ups using a pre-and post-test semi-structured questionnaire. Descriptive data are presented using measures of central tendency and their respective measures of dispersion. No comparative statistical analysis was performed.
Modified Montage-Type Bronchoplasty with Complete Pulmonary Preservation
Among surgical cases of bronchoplasty with complete pulmonary preservation, those that require anastomosis of three stomas are rare. Usually, a double-barrel type reconstruction is performed by suturing two distal bronchi together and then anastomosing them to the proximal bronchus. However, the procedure is technically difficult because of the difference between the stomal diameter of the proximal bronchus and that of the two distal bronchi, and the tension at the anastomosis site is imbalanced. Herein, we present a rare surgical case of a bronchoplasty with complete pulmonary preservation in whom we performed an anastomosis between three stomas using a modified Montage-type technique. The advantage of this technique is that it allows free trimming of the anastomosed side-to-side stoma before anastomosis with the third bronchus, thus decreasing the tension at the anastomosis site and improving the outcome. We believe, this technique is superior to the other known techniques.
Fabrication of Ordered Arrays of Anodic Aluminum Oxide Pores with Interpore Distance Smaller than the Pitch of Nano-pits formed by Ion Beam Etching
We investigated a method for preparation of ordered nanopore arrays with the interpore distance of 60 nm by guided self-organization of anodic aluminum oxide with a prepatterned array of pits in the starting Al film.
