Theory of Mind Understanding and Socioeconomic Status
The participants underwent assessments across all Theory of Mind (ToM) tasks. All individuals were native speakers, comprising 74 from Iran and 66 from Sweden, aged 6-12, and included those with autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome,
and typical development. We conclude that children’s behavior serves as a scale for social and thought problem assessments,
evaluated based on teachers' and parents’ scores.
Evaluation of the Autistic Children Motor Skills: Research Project Proposal
Imitation is considered as a platform for interdisciplinary studies where social sciences, cognitive psychology, neurobiology and neurocybernetics interact, as well as clinical psychology. It is often used to explore various and several scientific fields but few works have investigated a series of linked successive motor actions. The current work aimed to study and expand the findings regarding which information subjects of different populations selected and included for reproducing demonstrated model ’actions. 120 children of 6
age groups divided between 3 years and 8 years, associated to autistic and deficient children were tested in this present study. This developmental scale completed, should provide a baseline for understanding in what type of constraints the autistic child would be specifically deficient in the management of his imitation. The comparison with mentally deficient children also seemed indispensable. The children’s imitative responses were videotaped, coded in dichotomy data, and then put into percentage. Our expected goal is to
characterize the traits of autistic motor skills in reference to normal and mentally deficient development.
Current Trends and Risks of Autism and Vaccine Delivery
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is regular heterogeneous neurodevelopmental disorder with symptoms like disability in social association, repetitive behavior interest and activities. Etiology of autism and different speculations of ASD were proposed keeping in mind the end goal to clarify the pathophysiology of ASD.
Clinician Perspectives of Adult High-Functioning Autism Support Groups’ Use of Neurodiversity Concept
Ample research has examind the impact of autism for children and families, but less has addressed the effects of this condition for
adults. The literature indicates that adults on the autism spectrum suffer from depression and have a heightened risk of suicidal
ideation because of their social skills deficits [1]. Research also shows that individuals with high-functioning autism (HFA) can benefit
from participating in support groups. In addition, research indicates that use of the term “neurodiversity” rather than other diagnostic
labels encourages increased self-esteem to persons on the autism spectrum. This grounded theory study sought to understand the
belief of clinicians with regard to the incorporation of the concept of neurodiversity in support groups for adults with HFA [2].
Non-Syndromic X Linked Intellectual Disability in Two Brothers with A Novel NLGN4X Gene Splicing Mutation (NC_018934.2: g. 1202C>A)
X-linked Intellectual Disability (XLID) is an extremely heterogeneous disorder for which many of the causative genes are still unknown. So far, more than one hundred genes of the X chromosome have been found to be altered in males manifesting intellectual disability (ID). NLGN4X is an XLID gene, which has been found, involved in autism and Asperger syndrome involving causative coding mutations.
Cholesterol Homeostasis Imbalance and Brain Functioning: Neurological Disorders and Behavioral Consequences
Cholesterol is an amphipathic sterol compound that exerts both structural and physiological tasks in the plasma membrane of all eukaryotic
cells. The planar and rigid structure of this molecule regulates the fluidity of the phospholipid bilayer and its permeability to
solutes and ions.
