Copper Oxide Nano-Hydrogel Composite and their Toxicology Studies: A Green Chemistry Approach
The increasing demand for skin care products formulated with metal oxide nanoparticles such as Zinc oxide, Titanium oxide and Copper oxide nanoparticles calls for toxicological safety concerns. Phytochemical assisted synthesis of Copper oxide nanoparticles (CuONPs) has been achieved by a simple, one-pot chemical procedure using polyphenol-rich aqueous extract of Solanum torvum L. as a reducing and capping agent.
Treatment of Wastewater by Material Based on Dates Rods
With the growth and development of the industry, the problem of pollution remains the most important subject of many scientists,
since it affects several vital sectors.
Lost IUCD since 14 Years: Found in Urinary Bladder
Intra-uterine copper devices (IUCD) are one of the most widely used reversible contraceptive methods used in India due to its lost cost, easy availability and long duration of action. However it is associated with few complications, one of the most important among which is uterine perforation and IUCD migration.
Milk Production, Somatic Cell Count, Percentages Milk Fat and Milk Protein Measured in Lactating Dairy Goats Fed a Nutritional Supplement
Two replicate studies were conducted on a commercial goat dairy. The objective was to determine the effects of dietary supplementation with OmniGen-AF, a nutritional supplement that supports immune function in ruminants, on milk production, somatic cell count (SCC), percentages milk fat (%MF) and milk protein (%MP) in lactating dairy goats.
Nutritional and Biological Control Synergism against Gastrointestinal Nematodes in Small Ruminants
Parasitic gastroenteritis caused by gastrointestinal nematodes (GIN) continues to be a major constraint against profitable small ruminant production. The increasing prevalence and severity of anthelmintic-resistant nematodes in many parts of the world has led to a search for non-chemical control options.
Expression Profile of Hepatic Metallothionein-I and ATP7B, and Brain Metallothionein-III and Acetyl cholinesterase Genes in Wistar Rat Model for Non-Wilsonian Brain Copper Toxicosis
Cognitive waning due to chronic copper (Cu) intoxication in animal models is increasingly being reported; notwithstanding, information regarding molecular basis of Cu accumulation and neurobehavioral impairments remains fragmentary.
Copper Deficiency Myeloneuropathy Mimicking Subacute Combined Degeneration Following Bariatric Surgery
Bariatric surgery (BS) is a potential cause for malabsorption resulting in nutritional deficiency-related neuropathies and myelopathy.
Fabrication of Vertical Cu2ZnSnS4 Nanowire Arrays by Two-Step Electroplating Method into Anodic Aluminum Oxide Template
Vertical Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) nanowire arrays have been synthesized via two-step electroplating method into anodized aluminum oxide template. For deposition of CZTS nanowires, anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) was used as the growth mask for the growth of the nanowires. AAO templates with hole sizes of 70 nm in diameter were used in the experiments.
