Recurrence of a mucinous ovarian neoplasm after resection is unusual but this does happen. If possible, a repeat surgical removal of recurrent disease is the treatment of choice. The results of a repeat intervention are poor. A review of our results of treatment of recurrent mucinous ovarian neoplasms was performed.

Endocardial Approach for Substrate Ablation in Brugada Syndrome: Epicardial, Endocardial or Transmural Substrate?

Background: Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in Brugada syndrome (BrS) has been performed both endocardially and epicardially. The substrate in BrS is thus unclear. Objectives: To investigate the functional endocardial substrate and its correlation with clinical, electrophysiological and ECG findings in order to guide an endocardial ablation. Methods: Thirteen patients (38.7±12.3 years old) with spontaneous type 1 ECG BrS pattern, inducible VF with programmed ventricular stimulation (PVS) and syncope without prodromes were enrolled. Surgical Outcome in Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

‘Cubital tunnel syndrome represents the second most common nerve compression syndrome. While mild cases have been well treated conservatively at first hand, surgical therapy should be considered early on, because atrophy of the intrinsic muscles is often irreversible.

Surgical Outcome of Cubital Tunnel Syndrome Using the MHQ and DASH: A Retrospective Patient-Reported Assessment

In German speaking countries the cubital tunnel syndrome (CUTS) is better known as sulcus nervi ulnaris syndrome. Next to the carpal tunnel syndrome, it is the second most common neuropathic compression disease in the upper limb [1]. Due to the anatomical positioning of the ulnar nerve at the dorsal area of the elbow, it is located in a vulnerable area where it is exposed to stretch and compression forces in the ulnar nerve sulcus.
