A Case Report of ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction With Non-Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease: an Economical and Beneficial Investigative Algorithm
Myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA) is a puzzling clinical entity, coupled with potential multiple pathophysiological mechanisms, often makes disease classification, investigation and management difficult. Despite presence of myocardial damage and increased risk for the future, many patients are discharged undiagnosed, thus the specific cause is not effectively treated.
Denture Barcoding - The Clever Way
Forensic Odontology is the means to identify a person from their dental remains. Various methods are there for identifying an individual. In this study, the main aim is to identify an edentulous person making a positive identification by means of Barcode. A Barcode is a machine-readable code in the form of numbers and a pattern of parallel lines of varying widths, printed on a commodity. The study focuses on creating dentures with identification marks/labels using patient’s identity proofs such as Aadhar Card, PAN card, Voter ID card. And these will be incorporated in the denture after acrylization using cost effective and minimally altering method. This is an attempt to incorporate identity marks in dentures that can be provided by a General Dental Practitioner on day-to-day basis.
Demographic and Socioeconomic Influence on Antenatal Care Utilization Among Pregnant Women in Wa Municipality of The Upper West Region of Ghana
Introduction: It remains unclear if benefits of antenatal care can be attributed to the amount and content of care or to uncontrolled risk factors that might also affect its use. An understanding of the factors influencing antenatal care is still a challenge because the pathways through which the effects are obtained remain elusive.
Objective: The study examined the factor influencing antenatal care utilisation in the Wa Municipality.
Methodology and Data: The study employed a retrospective cohort design. The probability proportionate to size sampling was used to select the sub-district health catchment facilities, while the systematic random sampling was used to select respondents. Data was collected from 353 women based on the status of Antenatal care utilization.
Results: The results suggest that the educational status, maternal knowledge on adequacy of four or more antenatal care, score for general services received, number of tetanus toxoid doses received and anaemia status at Antenatal care registration were significant predictors to adequate antenatal care utilization.
Conclusion: The study further found that women who had anaemia at antenatal care registration, General quality of received women received at antenatal care, level of Tetanus doses as well as knowledge on the adequacy of antenatal care were significant factors that influence antenatal care usage among reproductive aged women in the Wa municipality. The implication is that, attention should be drawn by health management authorities to ensure an improvement in the coverage antenatal care in Wa Municipal while health staff are encouraged to enforce to the latter all due protocols in the discharge of their duties at antenatal care utilisation in Ghana
Evaluating the Economic Performance of Reverse Polymerization Technology for Waste Tyre Recycling in Sub-Saharan Africa
The unlawful and uncontrolled disposal of waste tyres is greatly disturbing in terms of the environmental concerns and the economic misfortune. In combating this menace, there is growing interest in the application of efficient and environmental-friendly alternatives to the traditional recycling methods for waste tyres. Pyrolysis can be considered as an appropriate non-conventional method for complex materials such as tyres. Several works have been made to improve pyrolysis process towards higher yield and quality of biofuels and greater energy efficiency. This study considers Reverse Polymerization, a microwave-assisted pyrolysis process to extract complete yield and higher quality of valuable products, while avoiding toxic emissions into the environment. The feasibility of such innovative recycling process in Sub-Sahara Africa is essential in order to convince concerned authorities to buy into such advanced technologies with great benefits. The investment analysis and economic performance indicators from the study demonstrated that the
operation of such proposed recycling system in the continent is economically feasible. However, the operation of such facility under the present market conditions might highly be challenged by high investment risk as the project is highly capital intensive.

To Analyze the Casual Effect of Economic Growth, Energy Use on Fossil Fuel Consumption in Sub Saharan Africa with Structural Breaks
The study seeks to investigate the casual effect of the efficient energy use and GDP (economic growth) on fossil fuel consumption (Nonrenewable) for the sub Saharan Africa for the period 1980 to 2014. The study also seeks to investigate solutions to environmental issues. Zivot-Andrews unit root test with a structural break, Phillips and Perron unit root test with structural break revealed that the investigated variables become stationary at first-differences. The Gregory-Hansen cointegration test with a structural break shows efficient energy use, economic growth and energy consumption are co-integrated. The long-run estimates obtained from the VECM model indicate that in account of the changes in the structure of the economies, the environmental Kuznets curve does not exist due to validity of a U shaped curve. An increase in output growth (GDP) and efficient energy use positively affect environmental pollution. Based on the findings of this study, the study recommends investment in green technology as the economy growths.
Availability and Knowledge of Iodized Salt at Household Level and Associated Factors at Debre Tabor Town, Northwest Ethiopia
IDDs are among the major public health problems of the world. Nearly two billion individuals worldwide and about 350 million Africans are at risk of iodine deficiency and face many risks from its deficiency and complications. Poor knowledge related to iodine diet and iodized salt utilization were some of the factors. Poor Educational status, Occupation and Sources of Information were frequently cited factors related to Knowledge on iodized salt consumption. Iodized salt is an effective and cheap method to prevent and
control iodine deficiency in the community.
Decision-Making in Mastitis Prevention and Control at Regional, Herd and Individual Levels Based on Epidemiological and Economic Studies
The objective of this review is to describe results of epidemiological and economic studies carried out in Brazil that can assist in the decision making process at the region, herd and individual levels for the prevention and control of bovine mastitis. At regional and herd-levels, we present data from a time series analysis comparing somatic cell counts in herds located in Brazil and in the United States (US), an estimation of the prevalence of contagious mastitis pathogens in a specific population of herds located at the state of Minas Gerais, and finally we report the identification of risk factors for new and chronic intramammary infections within herds located at the state of Santa Catarina. The outcomes of epidemiological studies that support the decision making process at herd- and individual-level are related to the decrease in prevalence of contagious mastitis pathogens in the herd as well as the estimate of the economic impact of mastitis occurrence.

The Economic Impact of Climate Change on Transportation Assets
Climate change is the statistical distribution changes of weather patterns when that change lasts for a long period. This paper aims to review economic wide effect of climate change on transportation assets. Climate change economically affects transportation by increasing maintenance, operation, rehabilitation, and repairmen costs of transportation infrastructure. Climate changes can also increase the cost of new transportation infrastructure due to higher climate adaptable design standards. It also accelerates infrastructure replacement costs. In addition to damage to transportation infrastructures, climate change can also indirectly cause loss of infrastructure service and activity disruption. Climate change also causes bring down travel times, higher cost choice required to address operational needs and accumulating yield for shipment when transport courses allow.
Obesity and its Correlates among Junior High School Children in the Accra Metropolis
The prevalence of obesity is on the increase worldwide due to changes in diet and physical activity patterns. Childhood obesity is now a major public health challenge in advanced economies. Obesity in childhood tends to persist into adulthood and to predispose to non-communicable diseases. There is little data on childhood obesity and its correlates and determinants in sub-Saharan Africa. A cross-sectional study was carried out using simple random sampling technique to select 260 junior high school children aged 11-15 years from six basic schools (n=768) from three different socioeconomic (low, middle, high) areas of Accra, the capital city of Ghana.
