Assessment of Knowledge and Practice of Mothers Towards Iycf and Uptake of Integrated Nutrition Intervention Package in Rwanda
Childhood stunting is one of the most significant obstacles to human development and the path to prevention is virtually
identical. An integration of nutrition‐specific and nutrition‐sensitive intervention was implemented by a program named
Gikuriro in five districts of Rwanda to improve maternal and child nutrition. The package included nutrition education
and counselling, promotion of agricultural productivity, economic empowerment activities, and provision of Water,
Hygiene and Sanitation services
Malignant Scalp Tumors: Retrospective Analysis of 1000 Patients.
Background: Limited data on large cohort of patients with malignant tumors of the scalp are available in the literature. The
aim of this study was to review a large cohort of patients with malignant scalp tumors to determine epidemilogy, tumor
characteristics of this region and treatment.
Materials and Method: A retrospective review of patients with malignant scalp tumors diagnosed histopathologically
between 2005 and 2021 was performed. Demographic features and tumor characteristics were analyzed.
Results: A total of 1080 patients (M: F 3,5:1) were treated and followed up for a mean period of 42 months (12-120
months). Age at diagnosis ranged from 12 to 98 years. Most malignant scalp tumors (95,1%) occurred in those 50 years
or older and in bald patients (87%). Basal cell carcinomas (59,2%), squamous cell carcinomas (32,2%) and melanomas
were the most common histologic types. Incidence was highest on the frontal of temporal region (66,1%). Recurrence was
frequently in squamous and basal cell carcinomas but uncommon in melanoma.
Conclusions: Tumors of the scalp accounted about 8,01 % of all skin cancers. Tend to be basal and squamous cell carcinomas, many of which occur in the temporal and frontal region of bald men. The outlook for patients with scalp tumor is
positive, although we suggest excision margins of at least 3-4 mm and continued clinical vigilance is warranted given their
higher recurrence rates.
Bioequivalence Study of Donepezil 10 mg Orally Disintegrating Tablets in Healthy Thai Volunteers Under Fasting Conditions
Donepezil is a potent, selective, noncompetitive and reversible inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase, commonly used for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. The form of orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) is a good alternative dosage form for patients who have a difficulty in swallowing conventional tablets or capsules.

The Effect of Bundled Interventions on Prevention of Hospital Acquired Clostridium Difficile Infection: An Integrative Review
Hospitalized patients are at an increased risk for acquiring Clostridium Difficile Infection (CDI). Increased virulence of C. difficile strains and increased use of antimicrobials have led to an increase of CDI cases that are more difficult to treat (CDC, 2013). Proper hand hygiene techniques, room cleaning, and equipment cleaning are not consistently being followed by healthcare workers, leading an increased spread of CDI between hospitalized patients. The purpose of this integrative review was to determine the best evidencebased
methods to reduce hospital-acquired CDI rates. The evidence reviewed supports the implementation of a multifaceted approach including: (a) proper hand hygiene practices, (b) adequate and appropriate surface cleaning practices, (c) compliance to contact isolation procedures, and (d) strengthening of an existing antimicrobial stewardship committee to reduce hospital-acquired CDI rates.

Croscarmellose Sodium Efficiency in the Development of a Generic Capsule Formulation of Piroxicam, Comparable Dissolution Profile to the Innovator Product, Feldene
The objective of this study was to evaluate the encapsulation performance of Croscarmellose sodium, a superdisintegrant in a low-dose, poor-solubility drug formulation and the in-vitro dissolution performance of the Piroxicam capsules. Preparation, characterization and evaluation of the effects of the different concentrations of carmellose sodium and the amount of dried starch on in-vitro dissolution of Piroxicam capsules. Piroxicam was chosen for its very low solubility in biological fluids, which result in poor systemic bioavailability after oral administration. Piroxicam can be categorized as Class II drugs according to the Biopharmaceutics Classification System.
A Reintegration Program for Elderly Prisoners Reduces Reoffending
Harsh sentences have resulted in many prisoners being elderly at the time of their release. However, the longer individuals have been incarcerated and the older they are, the more difficult it may be for them to re-enter free society. We developed a reintegration program to promote their successful adjustment to society and to prevent their reoffending, and evaluated its effectiveness. Participants were 25 older prisoners in Japan; all were homeless and more than 65 years old.
Anodic Oxidation of Titanium in Sulphuric Acid and Phosphoric Acid Electrolytes
Anodisation of pure titanium has been carried out in sulphuric and in phosphoric acid solutions at potentials ranging from 50 to 150V. The SEM and AFM morphological analysis indicates that, within this potential range, oxidation in sulphuric acid solution produces better developed mesoporous oxide layers.
