This is especially important in disease outbreaks when information is quickly required on local needs that is essential for success. Quantitative data alone are not sufficient to provide an in-depth understanding. The challenge is to use a rapid data collection approach that can provide practical solutions by integrating the available evidence, professional expertise, and stakeholder experiences. According to the UNAIDS 2022 report, 52% of the HIV positive children between 0-14 years were able to access treatment and of these 68% attain viral suppression. CCR5 promoter genotype specifically single nucleotide polymorphisms have been linked to modulate patient virological status. However, the few studies that have studied the association in infants have utilized allele-specific PCR a genotypic method limited to detecting already known SNPs. By using Sanger sequencing, we explored the association taking into account novel mutations.

Obesity is a contemporary phenomenon that consumes an enormous and substantial public expense regarding health for needy countries. The amount spent only for the cost with the treatment of obesity for the SUS (The Unified Health System) was estimated around half a billion of reais in 2011 (Oliveira, 2013) [1]. In this scenery, the purpose towards prevention and control initiatives concerning these outlines must really become fundamental. This study has aimed to analyze the efficacy developed by a multidisciplinary team during a period of 12 months (from 2016 to 2017). The intervention has consisted in a number of periodic consultations supervised by this special team within food directions and physical training. All the data were synthesized and analyzed statistically through the Mcneunann Test, regarding the significance degree of p< 0.05. It has been observed in such results that most of the participants belong to feminine sex having from 45 to 81 years of age, a low schooling and a short monthly income. For the present, what must be said is that the intervention was wholly effective providing reduction of corporal measures, improvement in the quality of the diet consumed, besides a strengthening in the social network, empowering for the participants, further the expansion of knowledge about topics relative to food and nutrition. So, it can finally be suggested that initiatives towards obesity control are indeed effective and important and must be promoted everywhere.

Nonspecific chronic vulvovaginites (NCVV) are a frequent clinical sign of immune deficiency, especially in young girls. The established problems with the functioning of various parts of the immune system (IS) in this pathology dictate the need to include immunomodulatory therapy into the complex. The developed program of combined immunotherapy for immunocompromised girls allows reducing the severity and duration of exacerbation of NCVV, their frequency against the background of a significant reduction in ARVI incidence. Positive clinical effects were observed with underlying restoration in IS functioning. A protective effect was obtained (observation in a catamnesis for 1 year): the duration of a clinically safe period increased from 6 to 11-11.5 months per year.

School represents a proper place for health promotion among youth. This study aimed to explore the determinants of an eventual school nutrition policy (SNP) development by studying the perceptions of youth coming from different social contexts in Lebanon. It was a qualitative study conducted among 48 children and adolescents aged between 10 and 14 years in 8 schools (4 private and 4 public) in rural and urban Lebanese regions. An exhaustive integrated conceptual framework was used to explore the perceived determinants at different levels of action, namely individual, community/interpersonal and organizational. Directed and semi-structured individual interviews were conducted with youth. Data from this research have been submitted to a thematic qualitative analysis to identify barriers and facilitators of SNP development in Lebanon. Coding guide was based on the integrated comprehensive conceptual framework. Transcripts were coded and revised by the 2 researchers for common themes.
