Mathematical Analysis on the Design of Heliostat Field
The optimal design of heliostat field in solar power generation device is studied Heliostat field generates high temperature
by focusing the sunlight reflected from the mirror surface, thus pushing the turbine to generate electricity. In order to
improve the efficiency of power generation, this paper optimizes the parameters of heliostat field, establishes a singleobjective optimization model, and uses mixed strategy whale optimization algorithm to solve it. Through geometric optical
analysis and ray tracing model, the optical efficiency of heliostat field and the annual average output thermal power per
mirror area are calculated. Finally, through the discussion and analysis of the model, the optimization design method is
evaluated.
Mathematical Modeling of Pathological Processes in Alzherimer’s Disease
Using kinetic differential equations and the Runge-Kutt algorithm, an analysis of the pathological processes occurring in the course of Alzherimer’s disease was carried out. Thanks to the appropriately selected kinetic equations, the presented model allows to explain the time course of the growth of pathological proteins: beta-amyloid and tau protein and the related loss of nerve cells. The model is based on previous experimental knowledge of Alzherimer’s diseas and is in good agreement with the experimental data.
A Case Report of ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction With Non-Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease: an Economical and Beneficial Investigative Algorithm
Myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA) is a puzzling clinical entity, coupled with potential multiple pathophysiological mechanisms, often makes disease classification, investigation and management difficult. Despite presence of myocardial damage and increased risk for the future, many patients are discharged undiagnosed, thus the specific cause is not effectively treated.
A Proposed Architecture for Data Security in Cloud Storage Space
Cloud computing is a new and evolving technology. Important feature of cloud computing is using storing, multi-users space and distributed and parallel environment. The cloud offers some services which reduce the cost and time, offering various types of services is possible through internet. One of important services of cloud is the possibility of storing data by users in cloud.
Predicting Multi-Drug Inhibition Interactions based on Signaling Networks and Single Drug Dose-Response Information
Inhibiting multiple pathways/targets with combination drug therapies is widely used to maximize therapeutic benefit in many diseases. Therapeutic success can often be improved by concurrently and/or sequentially inhibiting multiple pathways/targets by combining drugs with different mechanisms of action.
Nonparametric estimation of cumulative cause specific reversed hazard rates under masked causes of failure
In the analysis of competing risks data, it is common that the exact cause of failure for certain study subjects is missing. This problem
of missing failure type may be due to inadequacy in the diagnostic mechanism or reluctance to report the exact cause of failure.
Conventional and Computational Features in Document Examination
Document examination has been around for more than a century. The field of Document examination has become more diverse and requires authenticity or validation in many areas of examination which involves determination of authorship, fraud detection and personal identification.
Genetic Algorithm and Ensemble Systems for Multi-biometric Cancellable Recognition
Biometrics usually provides several advantages over traditional forms of identity authentication. However, there are some concerns
about the security of personal biometric data, while these systems need to ensure their integrity and public acceptance.
Identification of Designer Drugs using Gas Chromatography High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry and a Soft-Ionization Source
Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) with electron ionization (EI) or chemical ionization (in positive or negative mode) plays an important role in the forensic analysis of designer drugs.
