Rheological, Antioxidant and Sensory Properties of Sodium Reduced Wheat Flour Bread with Mahaleb (Prunus mahaleb L.)

20% and 40% reduction of sodium content of wheat bread and the effects of addition of mahaleb kernel powder (Prunus mahaleb L.) were examined in order to determine the quality characteristics of the wheat flour dough and bread. The rheological properties of dough and antioxidant, sensory properties of sodium reduced wheat bread made with different levels of mahaleb kernel powder were determined.

Invitro and Invivo Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Bauhinia X Blackeana Linn Leaves

The present study is to investigate the anti-inflammatory activity of Bauhinia X blackeana leaves by in vivo on rats and in vitro using HRBC membrane stabilizing method. Diclofenac sodium was used as reference drug for comparison. The methanolic extract showed significant activity when compared to the standard drug.

The Influence of Sodium on the Characterization of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Thin Films Prepared by Three-Stage Deposition Process

The objective of this work is to investigate the influence of sodium on the characteristics of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) thin films prepared by a three-stage deposition process with a MoNa back contact, in comparison to Mo/SLG. The XRD results show that all the CIGS thin films deposited onto Mo/SLG substrates have the (112) preferred orientation, rather than the (220/204) orientation of CIGS deposited onto Na-free substrates.

Fabrication of Vertical Cu2ZnSnS4 Nanowire Arrays by Two-Step Electroplating Method into Anodic Aluminum Oxide Template

Vertical Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) nanowire arrays have been synthesized via two-step electroplating method into anodized aluminum oxide template. For deposition of CZTS nanowires, anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) was used as the growth mask for the growth of the nanowires. AAO templates with hole sizes of 70 nm in diameter were used in the experiments.
