The Ethnobotanical study realised in June-July 2012 beside 82 different respondents permitted to describe their medicinal use at the local scale based on the local Known-how, and constitute a source of very precious information for the area studied and for subsequent researches for the domains of the phytochemistry and pharmacology in order to search for new natural substance. In tyhis study, the survey targeted men (70 %) and women (30 %), aged 30 to 50 years and The data Analysis showed that the overall level of schooling of the town was low (64% of the illiterate). Ethnobotanical Knowledge of Rabbit Breeder’s Community for Treating Livestock Diseases in Benin
The study aims to inventory the medicinal plants used in feeding, health and reproduction of rabbits. The surveys were carried out at 248 rabbit’s breeders in southern Benin. The identification of frequent species has been carried out. The ethnobotanical data were analyzed using various quantitative indices calculated for each of the medicinal plants recorded such as relative frequency of citations (RFC), informant consensus factor (ICF), relative importance index (RII), use value (UV), family importance value index (FIV), and level of fidelity (FL).

Factors Associated with Home Births among Rural Mothers in Uganda; a Descriptive Survey of Gomba District
In Uganda, about 16 mothers die daily due to pregnancy, childbirth complications or within the first six weeks after delivery. For each maternal death, at least six mothers sustain permanent or temporary disabilities and morbidities. Until now, nearly 42% of the women still deliver at home and yet, 94% of them attend antenatal care at least once. Factors for the persistence of home births among mothers in rural areas of Uganda were therefore investigated to specifically determine the association between social demographic characteristics and home births, the impact of village health teams and the role played by sexual partners in influencing home births.

Genomic Survey of ATP-Binding Cassette (ABC) Transporters in Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench
ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters are the largest and most ancient family of transmembrane proteins with representatives in all phyla from prokaryotes to humans. Systematic searches were performed using PSI-Blast program on NCBI to identify sorghum ABC transporters. The identified proteins were subjected to phylogenetic and domain topology analyses and were classified and named according to the Human Genome Organisation (HUGO) system of classification and unified plant nomenclatural system. As part of the survey, the subcellular location, the presence of signal peptide and physicochemical parameters were determined.
