Biography

Dr. Muhammad Akram presently working as an assistant professor from Government College University Faisalabad. He has done his Ph.D. from Hamdard University Karachi-Pakistan in 2013. He had experience as a Chairman in the Department of Eastern Medicine and Surgery, University of Poonch, Rawalakot Azad Kashmir from 2015-2017.

Dr. Muhammad Akram received a Best abstract award for the paper entitled “Effects of medicinal plants on Alzheimer’s disease and memory deficit’’ in International Neural Regeneration Symposium 2016, Yinchuan, China. He is a member of professional bodies like National Council for Tibb, Pakistan Association for Eastern Medicine and many. He attended many National and International conferences. He had membership in Editorial Boards. He published numerous articles in scientific journals.

Research Interests

Dr. Muhammad Akram research interest includes Hyperuricemia, Xanthine oxidase inhibition by some selected medicinal plants, Enzyme Inhibition, Study of traditional system medicine (Indusyunic Medicine) Phytochemistry, and poisonous plants. Bioactivity and phytopharmaceutical evaluation of herb drugs and their natural products, Medicinal plants and Clinical trial, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics.
