Dr. Jenn-Feng Sheen is currently working as an assistant professor at Department of Biotechnology, National Formosa University. He obtained PhD degree from National taiwan university at Taipei, Taiwan (2005). In 2007, he joined Department of biotechnology, National Formosa University (Yulin County, Taiwan) as an Assistant Professor. Before academic, he has been worked in a contracted laboratory company, Mithra Bioindustry Co. (Taipei County, Taiwan) for about 10 years. He has been served as laboratory director for both analytical and drug abuse laboratories (2002-2007), and R&D manager (2005-2007). He currently serves as the director of the analytical service center of National Formosa University (2012- at present). He has published several articles in various international journals and obtained several patents.
Dr. Sheen research is mainly focused on the bioanalytical method development for drug substance, metabolites and agricultural compounds by using the chromatography tandem mass spectrometers. The application includes the pharmaceutical and food safety studies, such as preclinical animal studies, antibiotics residues, bioequivence study, occupational exposure bio-monitoring and pesticide residues. The improvements in preparation methods and LC-MS interfaces are also interested.
