Biography

Dr. Isabelle Perroteau is presently working as a professor in Comparative Anatomy and Cytology, teaching cell biology, University of Turin, Italy. She is also a Member of Turin Institute for Neurosciences. She is also the member of the Expert board of the Italian national agency for teaching and research evaluation (ANVUR). She received many awards and grants. She has numerous publications.

Research Interests

Dr. Isabelle Perroteau’s research interests include:

  • Cell Biology and neurosciences: Growth factors, tyrosine kinase receptors and signal transduction
  • Olfactory system and neurogenesis in the adult central nervous system
  • Cell adhesion and migration
  • Recombinant proteins and cellular transplants
  • ErbB and neuregulins
  • Nerve repair in the peripheral
  • Gene therapy
  • Biomaterials
