Biography

Dr. Khaldon Bodoor is currently working as an Associate Professor of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan. He was a Senior Research Associate, Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology at Duke University. He received numerous academic honors and awards. He has various publications.

Research Interests

Dr. Khaldon Bodoor’s research interests focuses on:

  • Nuclear envelope dynamics in interphase and mitosis
  • Nuclear envelope-associated diseases
  • Nuclear receptors, smooth muscle physiology and molecular biology
  • Heat shock proteins
  • Triple-negative breast cancer, bladder cancer, gastric cancer, leukemia’s and lymphomas
  • Discovery of small molecule inhibitors of kinases 
  • Cancer biomarkers discovery
