Dr. Gianni Testino, M.D. (born April 11, 1961, in Genova, Italy) is a renowned medical professional specializing in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Digestive Endoscopy. He currently serves as Chief of the Unit of Addiction and Hepatology at ASL3, located within the San Martino Polyclinic Hospital, Genova, Italy. Dr. Testino also heads the Department for Healthy Lifestyles and Community Programs and coordinates the Regional Alcohological Centre for the Ligurian Region. Additionally, he leads the Study Center on Self-Help and Caregiver Training at ASL3, Genova, and serves as a Contract Professor. A prolific researcher, Dr. Testino is the author of over 600 scientific publications, including more than 280 indexed in PubMed.
