Dr. Ekrem Dogan is Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at Selahaddin Eyyubi University Health Sciences Faculty. Prior to joining the faculty of Selahaddin Eyyubi University, he was a Professor of Internal Medicine in division of Nephrology also he had been head of the department of nephrology between 2005-2014, head of kidney transplantation unit between 2006-2014, head of a dialysis unit between 2005-2014 and vice dean between 2010-2013 at school of medicine at Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, Kahramanmaras, Turkey.
He worked as a specialist of internal medicine between 1998-2003 at Muş, Turkey. After that, he worked as assistant professor till 2005 and as an associate professor between 2005-2010. In this period he set up dialysis and peritoneal dialysis unit. Also, kidney transplantation unit at Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University and he worked as a head of three centers. In South East of Turkey, kidney transplantation was performed firstly in the center which he established at Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University in 2007. He was also the head of the department of nephrology and he made many academic meetings. He worked as a vice-dean between 2010-2013.
