Dr. Sónia Dias is Associate Professor and Director of the International Public Health Unit of the Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She has a PhD in International Health and a Degree in Psychology. She is Director of the Master in Health and Development. She has published in books and in international and national peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Sónia Dias research is mainly focused on HIV/other STI prevention, sexual health promotion, health of vulnerable groups, access to health services and community intervention.
