Dr. Charles Scott Brudney is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Critical Care and Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center, United States. He has been an active faculty member at Duke for the last ten years and works in the Department of Anesthesiology as an intensivist, as well as an anesthesiologist. He is also a part of the Department of Medicine where he works as an intensivist in the Duke Raleigh Hospital ICU. He is also working as Medical Director on the Surgical ICU at the VA in Durham, as well as the Medical Director for the Critical Care Department at Duke Raleigh Hospital. His training was initially in Cardiff, Wales, followed by a medicine residency in Stoke Mandeville Hospital and an anesthesia/ICU residency at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. His postgraduate qualifications include Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists FRCA of the United Kingdom and Fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine FFICM of the UK. He is also a member many International Societies. He has been invited for many National and International Lectures.
