Dr. Lotfi A. Zadeh is currently working as Emeritus professor in the Computer Science Division of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at University of California, Berkeley, US. In addition, he is serving as the Director of Berkeley Initiative in Soft Computing (BISC). He is an alumnus of the University of Tehran, MIT and Columbia University. He has single-authored over 240 papers and serves on the editorial boards of over eighty journals. He received several awards and honors. He is a member of the many professional organizations.
Dr. Lotfi A. Zadeh’s research currently is focused on extended fuzzy logic and Z-numbers, semantics of natural languages, computational theory of perceptions, computing with words, Artificial intelligence, Decision analysis.
