Biography

Dr. Mohamed A Sabry is currently working as an Associate professor in College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, Manama, Bahrain.  He has published many articles and wrote chapter in books. Many of his publications were selected at national/international meetings.  He has a membership in many committees. HE acts as a reviewer for Clinical Genetics and Journal of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus

Research Interests

Dr. Mohamed A Sabry’s research interests include:

  • Identification of recognized dysmorphogenetic syndromes Arab populations
  • Identification of a novel human gene C15OR
  • Study of causative (new) mutations of biochemical genetic phenotypes/ in Arab/ non-Arab populations
  • The identification of teratogenic syndromes in Beduins 
  • Cytogenetic studies in Arabs
