He holds a degree in Dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry of Araçatuba (1993), a master’s degree in Dental Clinics from the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba Unicamp (1997) and a doctorate in Dental Clinics – Periodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba Unicamp (1999). He is currently a full professor at the University of Fortaleza, of undergraduate and postgraduate education (Professional Master in Dentistry) and carries out administrative activity with the coordination of the course of Dentistry. He has experience in the area of dentistry, with emphasis on Periodontics, working mainly on the following topics: gingivitis, periodontal disease, therapeutics, plaque, chemical control.
