Md Mahmudul Hasan Khan was born on the 1st of August 1984 into a renowned Muslim family in Barishal district, Bangladesh. He received his early primary education at BM School Barishal from 1990 - 1999. He got his Secondary Certificate from Government Sayed Hatem Ali collage, Barishal from 2000 to 2002. He then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (2008) from Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Patuakhali, Bangladesh with 6th position. In furtherance of his quest for knowledge, the author proceeded to the Sher -e- Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he obtained his master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding in the year 2010 with 3rd position. Now he working as a “scientific officer” in the plant breeding discipline at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) under the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), the People’s Republic of Bangladesh from April 2012. He completed short-term training courses on “Oil crops production technologies” implemented by Hunnan Agricultural Co-operation, organized, and financed by the Ministry of Commerce in 2015, China. He also worked as visiting researcher at the John Innes Centre (JIC), Norwich, UK for two months in 2018. He enrolled for his Ph.D. program in the field of Genetics and Plant Breeding in September 2018. He has been actively involved in academic and research work. He has published his research work in international reputable and high-impact factor journals.

Olanrewaju Ayodeji Durojaye is a molecular biologist with extensive experience in biochemistry and molecular biology research. He obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (2019–2024), following an M.Sc. in Molecular Biology from the University of Nigeria (2014–2016) and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Olabisi Onabanjo University (2007–2012). He has professional experience as an Assistant Lecturer at Coal City University, Enugu State, Nigeria (2018–2019), and has served as a Ph.D. student mentor at the Laboratory of Cell Development, University of Science and Technology of China (2020–2024). In 2001 he was recruited to LSUHSC as a tenure-track faculty member, and has stayed in the same institute till now.
