Md Mahmudul Hasan Khan was born on the 1st of August 1984 into a renowned Muslim family in Barishal district, Bangladesh. He received his early primary education at BM School Barishal from 1990 - 1999. He got his Secondary Certificate from Government Sayed Hatem Ali collage, Barishal from 2000 to 2002. He then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (2008) from Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Patuakhali, Bangladesh with 6th position. In furtherance of his quest for knowledge, the author proceeded to the Sher -e- Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he obtained his master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding in the year 2010 with 3rd position. Now he working as a “scientific officer” in the plant breeding discipline at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) under the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), the People’s Republic of Bangladesh from April 2012. He completed short-term training courses on “Oil crops production technologies” implemented by Hunnan Agricultural Co-operation, organized, and financed by the Ministry of Commerce in 2015, China. He also worked as visiting researcher at the John Innes Centre (JIC), Norwich, UK for two months in 2018. He enrolled for his Ph.D. program in the field of Genetics and Plant Breeding in September 2018. He has been actively involved in academic and research work. He has published his research work in international reputable and high-impact factor journals.

Olanrewaju Ayodeji Durojaye is a molecular biologist with extensive experience in biochemistry and molecular biology research. He obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (2019–2024), following an M.Sc. in Molecular Biology from the University of Nigeria (2014–2016) and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Olabisi Onabanjo University (2007–2012). He has professional experience as an Assistant Lecturer at Coal City University, Enugu State, Nigeria (2018–2019), and has served as a Ph.D. student mentor at the Laboratory of Cell Development, University of Science and Technology of China (2020–2024). His research interests focus on molecular mechanisms underlying cellular processes and their applications in biotechnology and life sciences.

Dr. Guo-Zhang Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Marshall University in the United States. He received his PhD in Molecular Biology from Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology in China. His postdoctoral training was carried out at the University of California, Davis. He has published various articles in international journals. He has been a reviewer for numerous prestigious journals.

Research: Dr. Guo-Zhang Zhu research is mainly focused on epigenetics, cell cycle regulation in cancer cells, molecular basis of mammalian reproduction and embryogenesis.

Dr. Wang is currently a tenured faculty member in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology in Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) at New Orleans. After receiving his veterinary medicine and PhD degrees in China, he moved to the States in 1992 and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Iowa where he then became a staff scientist. In 2001 he was recruited to LSUHSC as a tenure-track faculty member, and has stayed in the same institute till now. He is actively involved in medical student teaching and graduate student mentoring, and runs a productive biomedical research program. He published various articles in international journals.    

Research:   Dr. Wang research is mainly focused on neutrophil biology in oxidant production, phagocytic innate immunity and lung host defense, cystic fibrosis disease and gene and stem cell-based therapy, alcohol effect on glucocorticoid receptor signaling and cell immune response. 

Dr. Boris A. Reva is currently working as an associate professor at Department of Genetics and Genomics Sciences, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He worked as Staff Scientist at Computation Biology Centre, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre (2003-2013) and as Senior Scientist at Computational Division, Discovery Partners International Fort Lee (2001-2002). He worked as reviewer for many articles and published several articles in international journals.  

Research: Dr. Boris A. Reva research is mainly focused on genetic alterations underlying complex human diseases with a particular interest in human cancers, developing and applying computational tools towards classification, integration and biomedical interpretation of multi-component molecular profile data (mutations, gene expressions, gene copy numbers, etc) that have been generated through large scale cancer profiling projects for The Cancer Genome Atlas and International Cancer Genomics Consortium

Dr. San Ming Wang is currently working as an Associate Professor at University of Nebraska Medical Center. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University (2004-09) and as a Research Assistant Professor for the Department of Medicine at University of Chicago (1998-03). He received ARRARC1 award for 2009-11. He published 57 peer reviewed papers in various international journals.  

Research: Dr. San Ming Wang’s research is mainly focused on hereditary breast cancer, abnormal gene expression in leukemia, annotation of the genomes of human, Drosophila and rice, antisense detection, evolutionary origins of microRNA, poly A- transcriptome.

Dr. John V. Planz is an Associate Professor and Vice-Chair in the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth, Texas. He also serves as the Associate Director of the UNT Center for Human Identification and is well known for providing training in forensic statistics at national and international conferences and provided continuing education in this area to crime laboratories nationwide. He has been working in the area of forensic genetics for over twenty years and has provided his expertise to various state and national advisory boards and committees. He published many articles in international journals.

Research: Dr. John V. Planz research is mainly focused in the areas of molecular evolutionary genetics and population genetics and their applications for studying inter- and intra-specific diversity, human genome admixture influences in health disparities and the implementation of advanced analysis methods for genome analysis.

Dr. Weibin Shi is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics at the University of Virginia, a renowned public university in the United States. He is also a faculty member of the Cardiovascular Research Center, Center for Public Health Genomics, and MD/PhD training program at the university. He received his PhD in pathology from McGill University in Canada. His postdoctoral fellowship was carried out in the Department of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles. He joined the University of Virginia School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in 2001, and he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2005. He has published over 60 peer reviewed articles. He has served as a grant reviewer for the National Institutes of Health, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and American Heart Association-Mid-Atlantic Affiliate. He has been a reviewer for numerous prestigious journals.

Research:  Dr. Weibin Shi research is mainly focused on Atherosclerosis, lipid metabolism, aortic aneurysm, stroke, obesity and type 2 diabetes, molecular imaging. 

Dr. Kishor K. Bhakat is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Genetics Cell Biology and Anatomy at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. He received his Ph.D. in 1999 from University of Calcutta, India. He carried out his postdoctoral training on regulation of transcription of DNA damage repair gene at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, Texas. In 2004, he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular biology at UTMB. He worked as editorial board member and reviewer for various journals. He published many articles in international journals. 

Research: Dr. Kishor K. Bhakat research is mainly focused on Genetic mutation and DNA damage repair, Transcriptional regulation, Oxidative stress, Posttranslational modifications, and epigenetic.

Dr. Bernd Schierwater is currently working as a Research Associate in the labs of Stephen Dellaporta in Yale University, New York. He is acting as an Editorial board member for many Journals. He has received many awards and honors. He authored many book chapters and reviewed many article. He has many publications. 

Research: Dr. Bernd Schierwater research is mainly focused on developing a new generation of biomonitoring systems for both coastal marine and freshwater ecosystems.

Dr. Fuu-Jen Tsai is currently working as Dean of Office of Research and Development, CMU, Professor of School of Chinese Medicine, Director of Department of Medical Genetics and Director of Genetic Center, CMU&H. He completed his PhD at Institute of Chinese Medicine, China Medical College. His achievement in screening, diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases was awarded the National Award of Quality in Biotechnology and Medicine – Gold Medal in 2002 and Outstanding Achievement Award by Department of Health, Executive Yuan in 2004. His research in rare diseases, SNP and genetic diseases has made a significant contribution, publishing in Hepatology, PLoS Genet and Cancer Research. He published various articles in international journals. 

Research: Dr. Fuu-Jen Tsai research is mainly focused on screening, diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases, SNP and genetic diseases. 

Dr. Chao Chen is currently working as an associate professor at State Key Laboratory of Medical Genetics, Central South University. He completed his PhD in genetics at Fudan University, China (2011). He published many articles in international journals. 

Research: Dr. Chao Chen research is mainly focused on Functional Genomics, Microarray Technology, Global Gene Expression Profiling at Microscale, Psychiatric genetics. 

Dr. Hassen Chaabani is currently working as Professor at the University of Monastir. He worked as Director for the Department of fundamental sciences in the Faculty of Pharmacy (1990 - 1996) and Director of research unit entitled "Biology and Molecular Anthropology applied to Development and Health" (until 2013). He published several articles and books. He is the Founder and the President of the Tunisian Association of Anthropology. He is the Founder and the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Modern Anthropology and Editorial Board Member in several academic international journals. Several research works of Master and Doctorate were done under his management. He was chairman of several international congress and lecturer in several scientific and cultural congress and conferences at the national and international scale.

Research: Dr. Hassen Chaabani research is focused on Human Genetics, Biological Anthropology and some cultural and religious subjects.

Dr. Isik G. Yulug is currently an Associate Professor and Chair in theDepartment of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Faculty of Science, Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. She received her PhD in Molecular Genetics at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London in 1995. She was awarded with NATO scholarship by Turkey and Lawley Scholarship by University of London, the Best Scientific Work Award of the World Society for Breast Health and the L’Oreal-UNESCO Women in Science Award. Her articles published in citation index journals received over 1500 citations.  

Research: Dr. Yulug’s group is mainly focused on the identification and expression profiling of the genes involved in initiation and progression of human malignancies especially in breast cancer. 

Dr. Saber Mohamed Abd-Allah is currently working as a visiting scientist at Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. He worked as an associate professor at Theriogenology Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, BSU, Egypt (2012-14). He awarded a postdoctoral fellow from Chinese Academy of Sciences, China (2014). He is the Founder of 4 International Journals and Editor -in- Chief of 14 International Journals and Editorial board member of > 100 International Journals. Also, he serves as a peer reviewer for > 200 International Journals. 

Research: Dr. Saber Mohamed Abd-Allah research is mainly focused on Neuron Stem Cell, Culture and Development, Mouse Embryonic Stem Cell Culture and Development, Stem Cell Differentiation, Neural differentiations and Development, Embryo Culture and Development, In Vitro Fertilization and In Vitro embryo production, Chromosomal analysis, Karyotyping, Cryopreservation of Oocytes and Embryos, Frozen semen technology and, Artificial Insemination, Gynecological Disorders & Infertility, Ultrasonography in large and small animals, Superovulation Technique, Ovum Pick-Up, Follicle, Ablation in Cattle and Buffaloes, Embryos Recovery and Collection from Living Animals, Embryo Transfer. 

Dr. Bassam R. Ali is the professor of Molecular and Genetic Medicine and the leader of the Genetics and Development Research Priority Group at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University. He obtained his PhD degree in biochemistry from the University of Cambridge where he was the recipient of Said Foundation scholarship and the UK ORS Award. Subsequently, he worked at University College London and Imperial College London before joining the UAE University as an associate professor in August 2006. He published over 70 original articles in international refereed journals and participated in numerous scientific meetings.   

Research: Dr. Bassam R. Ali research is mainly focused on Elucidation of the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying human genetic diseases, The identification of disease genes and mutations responsible for rare recessive disorders in Arab populations, The Pharmacogenomics of drug metabolizing enzymes among Emiratis and, The regulation of cellular trafficking in eukaryotic cells. 

Dr. Nurul Matin is currently working as an associate professor at Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Rajshahi. He worked as an assistant professor at Department of Genetics Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Rajshahi (2006-7­).  He received Sher-e-Bangla Fazlul Haque Gold medal and he published several articles in international journals. 

Research: Dr. Nurul Matin research is mainly focused on Identification and characterization of novel gene and further utilization in Plant Genetics and Molecular Breeding to produces high-quality crops by developing agricultural production systems. 

Dr. Lan-Szu Chou is currently working as an associate professor at Department of Bio-Agriculture Sciences, National Chiayi University, Taiwan. He received his PhD from Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences, Utah State University. After that he continued his post-doc position at the Center for Microbe Detection and Physiology. He worked as reviewer and he published many articles in international journals. 

Research: Dr. Lan-Szu Chou research is mainly focused on molecular detection of DNA sequence variations (using bacteria as a model system), and the interaction between gut microbiome vs. human immune system (a research project collaborating with a local hospital).

Dr. Bidyut Roy is currently working as a professor at Human Genetics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute. He published various articles in international journals. 

Research: Dr. Bidyut Roy research is mainly focused on Genomics of Oral Cancer, Marker development for cancer, Mutation detection and expression deregulation of mRNA and miRNA in cancer and precancer, Mitochondrial DNA mutation and cancer, Susceptibility genes in isoniazid induced hepatotoxicity.
