Dr. San Ming Wang is currently working as an Associate Professor at University of Nebraska Medical Center. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University (2004-09) and as a Research Assistant Professor for the Department of Medicine at University of Chicago (1998-03). He received ARRARC1 award for 2009-11. He published 57 peer reviewed papers in various international journals.
Dr. San Ming Wang’s research is mainly focused on hereditary breast cancer, abnormal gene expression in leukemia, annotation of the genomes of human, Drosophila and rice, antisense detection, evolutionary origins of microRNA, poly A- transcriptome.
