Dr. Abdel-Raouf M. Khallil is working as professor in the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science at Assiut University, Egypt. He held many positions during his carrier. He completed his Ph.D. in Botany, Faculty of Science at Assiut University. He has many publications. He is a member of several professional societies.
Dr. Abdel-Raouf M. Khallil’s research interests include biodiversity and Ecophysiology of water-inhabiting fungi with special attenion to aquatic fungi (zoosporic and Hyphomyceteous fungi). Association and interrelationship between these fungi and other water organisms (particularly fish) as well as the the effects of various water pollutants on these fungi were also undertaken. The antimicrobial effect of some synthesied organic compouds was also investigated.
