Dr. Alfio Ferlito is Professor and Chairman of the ENT Clinic at the University Of Udine School Of Medicine (1997 to 2013). He served as Director for the Department of Surgical Sciences at the same University from 2003 to 2009. He completed his Post graduation in Otolaryngology, Padua University Faculty of Medicine (1972) and in Pathology, Trieste University Faculty of Medicine (1974). He achieved his graduation in medicine at the University of Bologna in 1968. He is a member of 38 reputed societies. He has been honored with several distinctions from professional ENT Societies including two Presidential Citations from the American Laryngological Association. Professor Ferlito has been awarded ad hominem fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, ad eundem fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2003 and ad eundem fellowship from Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005. Professor Ferlito has been author or co-author of 657 referred publications, 2 Monographs, 54 chapters in various books, 4 Special issues and Edited and contributed 9 Books. He has edited a three-volume book entitled Cancer of the Larynx (CRC Press, Boca Raton, 1985) and three other books entitled Neoplasms of the Larynx (Churchill Livingstone, Edinburgh, 1993), Surgical Pathology of Laryngeal Neoplasms (Chapman and Hall, London, 1996) and Diseases of the Larynx (Arnold, London, 2000). He serves as editor, co-editor, assistant and reviewer for the 725 journals.

Ranjana Bhattacharjee is Molecular Geneticist with specialization in Molecular Breeding at the Bioscience Center, IITA, Ibadan. She received his PH.D. In department of Plant Breeding from CCS Haryana Agricultural University while she was a Research student in the International Center for Research on Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Patancheru, Hyderabad, India. She was post-doctoral scientist at IITA, Center Biotechnology Laboratory, Ibadan, Nigeria. She has been involved in various collaborative projects between IITA, USDA-ARS, USAID, MARS and national programs in West and Central Africa for cocoa molecular breeding. She also participated in several conferences, workshops and presented the abstracts, oral presentations and she also published the several papers, articles in some of the publications. Dr. Ranjana Bhattacharjee is also having membership in some of the societies such as Indian Society for Genetics and Plant Breeding, India, African Cocoa Breeders Working Group, Cocao Net and Genome India International (GII) Forum. For her contributions she was honored with some of the awards such as Qualified, the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professorship in India (1997), ICRISAT Fellowship for doctoral research (1998-2000), ICAR fellowship for Graduate studies (1990-1994) and The Jawaharlal Nehru Award for Outstanding Postgraduate Agriculture Research for the Year -2002 in Plant Breeding. Presented by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR), New Delhi, India, in July 2003.

He authored a number of publications.
