Dr. Zhao is an assistant professor with strong experience in bioinformatics, health informatics, genetic epidemiology, and molecular genetics.She obtained her Bachelor and Master Degrees from China Agricultural University, Beijing, P. R. China, and acquired her Ph.D. degree in human genetics in 2006.
Dr. Zhao has published 59 original research papers and reviews in research fields of human genetics, genetic epidemiology, bioinformatics, obesity and osteoporosis. The results of her research have been published in prestigious journals such as Journal of Medical Genetics, Human Genetics, Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, Bone, Osteoporosis International, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Lan-Juan research interest is in human genetics study in complex disease, such as osteoporosis, osteoporotic hip fracture, sarcopenia, and obesity.
