Dr. Hong-Wen Deng have extensive inter-disciplinary research experience, as PI, on several successfully administered and implemented NIH grants.He had all the necessary expertise to direct this project. He published >400 peer-reviewed papers, many of them in top journals. He assembled a multidisciplinary team of long-time collaborating investigators with strong complementing experience.
Dr. Hong-Wen Deng interested in developing novel statistical methods and bioinformatics tools for analyzing and managing large, complex datasets in genomic and epigenomic research and expertise in genomics, functional genomics, proteomics, epigenomics, molecular genetics, bone biology, bioinformatics, statistical genetics, and clinic and translational research.
