Dr. Yin received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Peking University, China, and obtained her Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Cornell University in 2001. She joined the Lead Discovery Department at Genomics Institute of the Norvartis Research Foundation (GNF), San Diego for high throughput drug discovery and working on infectiour disease (HCV) at ItherX/Immusol (San Diego) as a research scientist. Dr. Yin joined Translational Genomics Institute at Phoenix, AZ (TGen) as the head of Cellular Genomics Center in 2005, where she established a state-of-art high throughput screening facility.
Dr. Yin research interests mainly focused on applying high throughput functional genomics and/or compound screening technologies in novel target and/or drug identification, understanding in drug resistance, and clinical compound improvement.
