Dr. Binquan Huang is a Research Innovation Fellow of BBSRC in UK. He did his joint Ph.D. in Crop genetics and Breeding from Sichuan Agricultural University in China and low State University in USA. He did his bachelors in Agronomy from Sichuan Agricultural University in China. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate in UGSF-CNRS in France, and subsequently in the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Oxford as a Marie Curie Fellow.
The development and evolution of crop storage organs (mainly in maize and potato), and the molecular mechanism of starch metabolism in these storage organs.
