Dr. Panagiotis A. Eliopoulos was born in Kalamata, Greece on October 7th, 1974. He completed a B.Sc. at Agricultural University of Athens (1998) and an M.Sc. (2000) and Ph.D.(2003) in Agricultural Entomology at the same University. He is an Associate Professor of Agricultural Entomology at Department of Agriculture Technologists, Technological Educational Institute of Larissa in Greece. He teaches General Entomology & Zoology, Applied Entomology, Integrated Pest Management to undergraduate students and post-graduate students. His main scientific fields are insect biology ecology, mite and insect biodiversity, integrated management of insect pests, biological control of agricultural pests and automated methods for pest detection and monitoring. He has about 35 publications in peer-reviewed journals and more than 60 presentations at scientific conferences.
