Dr. Xueqin Gao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Medical School, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Houston, Texas. Dr. Xueqin Gao received her MD, from Tongji Medical University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Ph.D. from Shandong University School of Medicine.  She had Postdoctoral training from Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on craniofacial cartilage development for two years and further 5 years postdoctoral training in Stem Cell and tissue engineering in Dr. Johnny Huard Lab (Stem Cell Research center), Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Xueqin Gao received many honors and awards for the research in orthopedics and other biomedical research. She holds memberships in professional and scientific societies like American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, Orthopaedic Research Society, etc. Dr.Xueqin Gao is an active speaker and presented her research at national and international conferences and she also has many publications in various journals. She also participates in the peer-review for several journals and serves as Editorial board member.

He worked as an Internship house officer, demonstrator, assistant lecturer, associate professor and professor in the department of Rheumatology and Rehabilitation in the Mansoura University, Egypt. He also highly qualified in the fields of diagnosis and management of rheumatic diseases, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological and neurosurgical rehabilitation. He also has a very good experience in management of obesity and acupuncture, nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG). He also participated in some of the teaching activities as a Teaching house officer and postgraduates of Rheumatology and Rehabilitation. He is also a member in some of the societies such as Membership of Egyptian Society of Osteoporosis, Membership of Arab Society of Back Pain and Membership of Egyptian Society of Quality Assurance in Mansoura University. He also worked as demonstrator, general physician, Assistant lecturer, and lecturer at the college of Medicine, University of Basrah, Iraq, for 15 years. He has also worked as Specialist physician of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Ministry of Health, Tripoli, Libya, for two years. He also worked as a Specialist physician of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and consultant physician at industrial companies for 16 years. He has a good grasp of knowledge in regard to internal medicine, infectious diseases, dermatology, emergency medicine, and occupational medicine.
