Dr. Seham Bassyouni M. Tayel is currently working as a Professor of Prosthetic Dentistry at Alexandria University. She has 30 years of teaching experience. She attended many conferences and received numerous certifications. She has various publications.

Dr.  Seham Bassyouni M. Tayel’s research interests include:

• Nano-coating of prosthetic materials
• Surface characterization of denture base materials
• Denture base reinforcement
• Using implants to treat oral diseases, testing new systems, materials and techniques and improving outcomes of treatment
• Tissue engineering for treatment of oral diseases ,filling defects & substituting oral tissues lost due to trauma, infection

• New technology for treatment of oral diseases including nano technology, laser applications, ozone
