Dr. Nabil F. Bissada is Professor and Chair of the Department of Periodontics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the Director of the Postdoctoral Graduate Program in Periodontics at the School of Dental Medicine and also maintains a private practice in Cleveland.
Dr. Bissada has authored and co-authored over 150 articles and 130 abstracts published in various peered journals, and he has lectured extensively at local, national and international levels. Dr. Bissada has received several awards for his contribution to dental education and periodontal literature worldwide.
Dr. Nabil F. Bissada’s expertise is in prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases. The link between oral and other systemic diseases is his current area of research interest where he contributed to our recent understanding of this association.
