Dr. Khue Vu Nguyen is currently working as a Full Project Scientist in the Department of Medicine and Pediatrics, University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, San Diego, California, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Department of Macromolecular Physical Chemistry and Physical Sciences (Doctorat d’Etat es Sciences Physiques). Dr. Khue Vu Nguyen has over 9 years’ of experience in Research field such as Cell culture, Molecular biology and Genetics. He also worked as Scientist in different French and USA Research Institutions and Companies. He is the author and co-author of numerous publications and holder of many patents. He is also a member of different academic organizations such as American Society for Microbiology, American Chemical Society. He also serves as an editorial member for various international journals. He is a Scientist Reviewer for grant proposals of the Metabolic Disease Two (MB-2) of the Peer Review Medical Research Program (PRMRP) for the U.S. Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).

Dr. Osama M. Ahmed was granted Ph.D. (in 2000) in Physiology from Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Egypt. Dr. Ahmed is a professor of physiology at Faculty of Science, Beni-Suef University and Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Nahda University, Beni-Suef, Egypt. His research interests are as follows: stem cell research, diabetes mellitus, maternal hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism effects on fetuses and offspring, obesity, carcinogenesis, drug-induced toxicity, rheumatoid arthritis, hyperoxaluria, hyperhomocysteinemia, and assessment of medicinal plant and their constituents as well as novel synthetic organic compounds as protective, preventive and therapeutic remedies. He has authored/co-authored more than 90 publications, and has also written two book chapters. He is an editorial board member in more than 25 international journals. He was awarded the State Incentive Prize (2014), Beni-Suef University Excellence Prize (2014) and the state excellence honor of the first class (2017). He is principal investigator and co-principal investigator in many research projects.

Professor Abdulbari Bener is Professor of Public Health at the Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University and Professor of Public Health at the Istanbul Medipol University International School of Medicine. He was Professor of Public Health in the Department of Public Health at the Weill Cornell Medical College for a period January 2006- August 2014. Professor Bener was Asst. Medical Director and Head of the Medical Statistics & Epidemiology Department at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar during August 2002- July 2014. Add to this, He is advisor to World Health Organization and Adjunct Professor & Coordinator for the postgraduate and master public health programs (MPH) of the School of Epidemiology and Health Sciences, University of Manchester. He is Fellow of Royal Statistical Society (FRSS) and Fellow of Faculty of Public Health (FFPH).  He holds a Ph.D. degree in Medical Statistics (Biometry) and Genetics from the University College of London (UCL), and a B.Sc. degree from Ankara University. He completed research fellowships in the Departments of Genetics & Biometry and Statistics & Computer Sciences at the UCL. He has held academic positions in public health, epidemiology, and statistics at universities in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and England. He has been an author or coauthor of more than 550 published journal articles. He is acting as an Editor, Associate Editor, Advisor Editor and Asst. Editor for over 20 Journals and Referee for over 60 Journals. He has contributed to more than 20 book chapters and supervised theses of 50 postgraduate students (MSc, MPH, MPhil, and Ph.D.).
