Dr. Loai Aljerf is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Dental Medicine/Damascus University, Syria. Dr. Loai awarded his PhD in Analytical Chemistry at Istanbul University. He is a specialist in analytical and industrial chemistry. He obtained many awards and published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers (two of them in French) in Environmental Sciences, Green Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Synthesis Chemistry, Concrete, Ceramics, Paper Industry, Petrochemical, Extraction, Separation, Lithium-Ion-Batteries, and Oral Chemistry. He is a partner in Advances in Cleaner Production Network, and a member of the German Chemical Society e.V. (GDCh) and the American University of Beirut. He is a member of the higher committee of the 6th International Workshop-Advance in Cleaner Production (São Paulo, Brazil (May 24th to 26th - 2017)). Dr. Loai Aljerf is in the Cambridge Scholars Publishing-Life Science Advisory Board and an editor of more than 20 journals and a reviewer for Top journals in Industry, Chemical Engineering, and Environmental Chemistry.

Dr. Hülya Akgün is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Faculty of Pharmacy, Yeditepe University, Turkey. She holds a membership in Turkish Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry Association. She involved more than 7 national and ınternational projects. She published a number of articles in international journals and about 50 posters at national and international meetings. Dr. Hülya Akgün research activity has been focused in the field of synthetic chemistry and asymmetric synthesis of synthetic drugs and NMR spectroscopy.

Dr. Motiur Rahman was born in 1977 in Rangpur, Bangladesh. He has completed BSc (Hon.) in Chemistry & MSc in Organic Chemistry form University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and PhD in Pharmaceutical science from College of Pharmacy, Yeungnam University Korea. His research interests are synthesis and biological activities (Cytotoxicity, Topoisomerase inhibitory activity, Antimicrobial activities, etc.) of Natural/Synthetic molecules, Total synthesis, and methodology development of various organic reactions, Bio-conjugates Chemistry, Host-guest chemistry and Heterocyclic Chemistry. Recently, Dr. Motiur Rahman has extended his research towards metabolomics. During his postdoctoral tenure at Yeungnam University, Kyungpook National University and at UiTM Malaysia, he has done various research. In October 2010, he has joined as Assistant Professor, at College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and now serving as an Associate Professor. He has published his research work in JMC, BMC, EJMC, EJOC, Tetrahedron, etc. and having great contribution in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry.

Research: Dr. Motiur Rahman’s research interests are:  Synthesis and biological activities (Cytotoxicity, Topoisomerase inhibitory activity, Antimicrobial activities, etc.) of Natural/Synthetic molecules, Total synthesis of natural products, Methodology development of various organic reactions, Bio-conjugates Chemistry, Host-guest chemistry and Heterocyclic Chemistry. Metabolomics.

Dr. Ibrahim Fathy Nassar is currently working as an Associate professor of organic chemistry at Ain Shams University. He completed his Postdoctoral fellowship in organometallic chemistry Lab, under supervision of Prof. Dr. Enrique Aguilar from university of Oviedo, Spain. He did his Ph.D and M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from Ain Shams University and he awarded his Bachelor of Science from Menofia University.He is an active member in various prestigious scientific societies like Member in the Swiss Chemical Society, Member in the Egyptian Syndicate of Scientific Professions, Member at the Royal Society of Chemistry and Member at the American Chemical Society etc., He also served as an Editorial board member and reviewer for various national and international journals. He published more 20 research and review papers in various National and International journals. He award the prizes for International Published papers from Ain Shams University in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013, Honor certificate from El Menofia University in Science Celebration (1994), Higher Education Chanel at the Egyptian Union of Radio and Television in 2013 and Forum Home Economic Department, Faculty of Specific Education Ain Shams University in 2017etc,. He got patent on Qualitative Structure Activity Relationship (QSAR) of New Organic Compounds Synthesized by stille cross coupling Reaction with Antitumor Activity, WO 2015127941 A1, 3 Sep. 2015

Dr. Tosh received his Ph.D. degree (Organic Chemistry) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Ewha Woman's University, Seoul with Prof. Lak Shin Jeong, where he worked on medicinal chemistry and was the first to discover 4′-Seleno nucleoside scaffolds for anti-viral research. Dr. Tosh also worked as a visiting fellow with Dr. Kenneth A. Jacobson at Laboratory of Bioorganic Chemistry, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, where he worked on extensively on Adenosine receptors, P2Y receptors, Serotonin receptors, opioid receptors, and Dopamine Transporter. Several of his discovered molecules are in the preclinical developmental stage for a different therapeutic area like chronic neuropathic pain, anti-depression and seizure and also some molecules are available commercially as a research tool.  Currently, he works as a staff scientist at the same institute of NIH. Dr. Tosh serves as an Editorial Board member of the journal, Dataset Papers in Pharmacology and Biochemistry section of the journal, Dataset Papers in Biology” (Hindawi Publishing Corporation) and a Reviewer of many prominent journals in the area of Medicinal chemistry and Organic  Chemistry. 

Dr. Rajat Subhra Das is currently working as Scientist in Omega Therapeutics, Cambridge USA. He completed his Industrial Postdoctoral Fellow from Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge and did his Postdoctoral Fellow in Chemistry from Boston College, Chestnut Hill. Dr. Rajat completed PhD in Chemistry at University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT and M.Sc. in Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai, India. He serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for various national and international journals. He is active member in American Chemical Society and Member of Pi Lambda Upsilon. He has work experience in oligonucleotide drug synthesis facility, Lead in vitro mRNA synthesis group, designing drugs and drafting patent application.

Research: Mutagenesis, Oligonucleotide Synthesis, Nucleic Acid Structure Activity Relationship, mRNA Synthesis and Application, CRISPR-Cas9 Mediated Gene Editing.

Dr. Raghu Vannam is working as a scientist at Olon Ricerca Bioscience LLC, Ohio. He received a Ph.D. degree from University of Connecticut (UCONN) and his doctoral research, under the supervision of Prof. Mark W. Peczuh, involves the synthesis of new septanoses and their utilization as surrogates of natural pyranoses. Before joining Ricerca, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Prof. Joseph M. Fox lab at the University of Delaware (UDEL) and his research mainly involves the synthesis of new probes for radiochemical imaging applications. During his graduate training, he did an internship at Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) where he worked on the large-scale synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients. His research work published in international journals like Chemical Science, Organic Letters, Org. Biomol. Chem, chem-bio. Chem. etc. He is currently serving as a reviewer for Tetrahedron Letters, Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, Bio-Organic, and Medicinal Chemistry Letters, and Synthetic Communications journal publications.

Dr. Guohui Li is currently working as an Adjunct Assistant Scientist in Department of Chemistry at University of Florida. He did his Ph.D. degree in biological mass spectrometry from University of Hong Kong and completed his Master of Science in Chinese Medical Science from university of Macau. He is active member of Hong Kong Society of Mass Spectrometry and Chinese Chemical society.  He served as reviewers for International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Molecules, European journal of integrative medicine, Fitoterapia and Phytomedicine and invited as guest editors for some special collections. He published more than 20 research papers in the peer-reviewed journals and 9 abstracts in the international academic conferences.

Research: Natural medicinal chemistry, mass spectrometry-based metabolomics/proteomics, multivariate data analysis (MDA)-guided fractionation and chemical biology

Dr. Amer A. Taqa is currently working as a Professor of Dental Basic science in Mosul University, Iraq. He got his PhD degree in Dental Chemistry. He has published more than 100 Research papers in various national and international journals and he works as an authored for 22 books. He serves as an editorial member for 140 international journals. He nominated as an Organizing committee member for a several of international and local conferences

Dr. Mohammed I. El-Gamal, Ph.D. got his B.Sc. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Mansoura, Egypt in 2003 with "Excellent with honor" grade, first achiever. Then he received his M.Sc. degree in medicinal chemistry from the same college. He got his Ph.D. degree in medicinal chemistry in August 2012 from Korea University of Science and Technology, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Republic of Korea. After that, he worked as a star postdoctoral fellow at KIST and assistant professor of medicinal chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Mansoura, Egypt. Mohammed I. El-Gamal, Ph.D. is the author of more than 55 publications in highly reputed international peer-reviewed journals. He got 3 patents and presented more than 38 posters and 8 oral presentations in many international conferences in The Republic of Korea, United Arab Emirates, USA, Japan, The Netherlands, and Austria. He has peer-review more than 67 articles. And he has been an editorial board member in more than 22 international journals. He has been also a member of the Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE). Mohammed I. El-Gamal, Ph.D. and his group have developed a new more efficient prodrug of Olmesartan (antihypertensive agent) which has been marketed in the Republic of Korea. And he is interested in anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial drug development.

Research: Dr. Mohammed I. El-Gamal research interests include Anticancer agents, Antiinflammatory agents, Antihypertensive Agents, Antimicrobial agents, Drug Design and Synthesis, Pharmacodynamics, and Pharmacokinetics.

Dr. Meric Koksal Akkoc, Ph.D. is Professor of Faculty of Pharmacy at Yeditepe University She obtained her B.Sc. in Pharmacy in 1997 from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey.  She then completed a M.Sc. in 1999 and Ph.D. in 2003 in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Instutue of Heallth Sciences at Hacettepe University. During her graduate program, she worked as a research assistant. In 2003 she got a position as an Assistant Proffesor at Yeditepe University where she still has been. As a medicinal chemist, her research interest include drug discovery and development. Her papers and projects are focused on synthesis, design and structure activity relationships of potential molecules as an analgesic, antiinflammatory and anticancer agents. 

Dr. Rasha Hanafi is Associate Professor of pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis at the unit of Instrumental analysis and analytical chemistry of at the German University in Cairo. She joined the GUC in 2004 as a teaching assistant till she obtained her master’s degree in pharmaceutical analysis from Cairo University in 2005 followed by Ph.D. in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis in 2009 supervised by Prof. Hilde Spahn-Langguth and Prof. Laila Mahran, where she was the first pharmacist to earn this degree from GUC. She obtained her habilitation from the Supreme Council of Universities of Egypt in 2016 to become associate professor of pharmaceutical analysis. She teaching of Instrumental analysis and analytical chemistry for Pharmacy students and is the supervisor of the Central Research Laboratory of the faculty and trainer on all chromatographic and spectrophotometric instruments. She is a scientific consultant and free-lance trainer for the Industry and Academia in the field of Analytical Method Development and Validation. She obtained many travel grants from DAAD including GERSS, and financial sponsoring from different pharmaceutical companies (Roche and SEDICO) for a variety of analytical developed methods of interest. She supervised more about 20 masters and Ph.D. students have been an external examiner for postgraduate students from Cairo University. She co-authored one book and has more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and about 20 conference abstracts and oral presentations. In addition, she is reviewer and editor of 6 Scopus and Medline indexed international peer-reviewed journals in the field of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical analysis. She has been also an evaluator for DAAD scholarships’ applicants. Her research collaboration includes Freie University of Berlin, University of Tübingen, and 57357 children cancer hospital and the National Institute of Cancer. She masters 4 languages fluently (Spanish, French, English, and Arabic).

Dr. Ashraf Youssef Nasr is an Associate professor in the Department of Anatomy & Embryology at Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt. He holds an MB.BCh, MSc & MD in Anatomy & Embryology. After completion of his MD in Zagazig University, he went to King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for teaching in Department of Anatomy, Histology & Embryology.  He has published 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals including Folia Morphologica, Anatomic Science international, Cancer Cell International, Toxicology Report, Life Science, Saudi Medical Journal and Neurosciences. He is an editor and reviewer for over 10 peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a frequent invited speaker and faculty member in international scientific conferences organized by different Biology, Anatomy, toxicology and Neurology and anthropology departments in different American, European, Asian and African Universities. He has been awarded numerous research awards including the Anatomy & Embryology Department in Zagazig and King Abdulaziz Universities.       

Dr. Sobhi Mohamed Gomha was born in 1972 in Fayoum, Egypt. He graduated from Cairo University, Egypt in 1995 then he carried out his M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies in 2002 and 2006 respectively, at Cairo University in the field of organic synthesis. In 2011 he promoted to Associate Professor and in 2016 he was appointed as a full Professor of Organic chemistry at Cairo University. He joined the scientific school of Prof. A. S. Shawali in 1996 and he has published 120 scientific papers and reviews all in international journals in the fields of synthetic organic chemistry, chemistry of hydrazonoyl halides, chemistry of enaminones, green chemistry and bioactive heterocyclic chemistry (There are about 1028 citations of his work from 2000 until march 2017 (h-index 19). In 2015 he awarded the prize of the best paper in heterocyclic chemistry from the Egyptian Heterocyclic Chemistry Society (E.H.C.S).

Dr. Marwa Hamdy El-Wakil is a lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Design at Faculty of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department, Alexandria University, Egypt. Her research interests include: Computational approaches for drug design, discovery, and modeling. Pharmaceutical organic and medicinal chemistry. Design and synthesis of novel lead compounds of pharmaceutical and medicinal interest. Studying different mechanisms involved in cancer incidence and evaluation of antitumor activity for the novel synthesized lead compounds.

Dr. Mojahid ul Islam having M. Pharm (completed in the year 2003) and Ph.D. (completed in 2007) in Pharmaceutical chemistry from Jamia  Hamdard, New Delhi. He has more than 11 yrs teaching experience while working in India as well as in abroad. I was teaching in Libya from September 2007 to August 2014. I was teaching in Saudi Arabia from October 2014 to July 2017. Currently, i am working as a Professor at Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology. He has more than 30 national and international publications. 

Research: Dr. Mojahid ul Islam's research interests,  to synthesize novel heterocyclic drugs useful for treatment of different diseases. My specialization to work on Pyridazinone, Triazole, Oxadiazole and synthesised drugs were evaluated for antibacterial, antifungal. antitubercular and antiviral activity.

Dr. Madhuresh Kumar Sethi has more than 30 years of research experience in global generic pharmaceutical industry and drug discovery program. Presently working with Mylan Laboratories Limited in Research and Development center in Hyderabad. He completed his B. Sc. and M. Sc. From Hons school in Chemistry and did his Ph.D.  research work in “Synthetic Investigation in Asymmetric Synthesis of β-Lactam and related biologically active compounds” from Punjab University, He plays a vital role in Mylan’s Scientific Affairs and has a significant contribution in various teams of Research and Development like Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Commercial Manufacturing of APIs and Intellectual property. Before him joining to the Mylan, he worked as a Research Scientist in a bunch of leading Pharmaceutical Companies in India like J K drugs and Pharmaceutical Ltd, Wockhardt Research Centre, Zydus Cadila Research Centre & Aurobindo Research Centre. He is also an author and co-author to over 70 patents and publications in reputed journals. He has more interested so to keep him connected with the scientific world as he attends various national & international meetings of scientists from around the world. He is an active member of various prestigious scientific societies like American Chemical Society, Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker vand, Indian Council of Chemists etc. He is Proficient in handling Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Purification technology, Process Development and Scale Up, Polymorphism, Bioorganic Chemistry, Chemo-enzymatic Asymmetric Synthesis, Highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs) synthesis and characterization etc

Dr. Ramesh Gupta is Dean SASRD, & Professor of chemistry at Nagaland University India. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Science, and Master of Science in organic chemistry from Lucknow University India, and Doctorate in Chemistry at Lucknow University, on Drug Development. Dr. Ramesh Gupta is a Medicinal & Bioorganic Chemist and has worked for several years as visiting professor/Scientist in various Medical schools; Louis pasture University France, University of Arizona USA, Osaka University & Nagoya University Japan, Kyung Hee University, Korea advance institute of science and technology (KAIST) Korea, Ben-Gurion University Israel, Linkoping University Sweden, University of Mons Belgium, University of Western Australia, Sydney ,University of Bergen ,Norway  and some others. Prof Guptas’ research focuses on the Natural & Synthetic Drug Development, role of sulfur amino acids in health care, functional food, nutraceuticals and environmental Biotechnology & gender issues.
