After this 48-hour window a withdrawal charge applies, and once the peer-review process has begun the manuscript can no longer be withdrawn. To request a withdrawal, download and sign the withdrawal form and email it along with the payment receipt for the applicable charge.

The conditions for withdrawal depend on how much time has passed and the stage of processing.
Within 48 Hours
A manuscript may be withdrawn free of charge within 48 hours of submission. Simply submit the signed withdrawal form and the submission will be removed at no cost.
After 48 Hours
Beyond the 48-hour window, withdrawal is permitted only on payment of a withdrawal charge, as advised by the editorial office.
After Peer Review Begins
Once the peer-review process has started, the manuscript cannot be withdrawn, as significant editorial and reviewer effort has already been invested.

How to Request a Withdrawal
Follow the steps below to withdraw your manuscript:
Download the manuscript withdrawal form using the button below.
Fill in all the details and sign the form. The form confirms that all co-authors are aware of and agree to the withdrawal.
If the request is made after the 48-hour free window, pay the applicable withdrawal charge for your income group and keep the payment receipt.
Send the signed withdrawal form together with the payment receipt to mail@annexpublishers.com.
Once the signed form and payment receipt are received and verified, we will withdraw the manuscript and confirm by email.

Published Articles
Articles that have already been published cannot be withdrawn, as they are a permanent part of the scientific record and may already have been cited. Any concerns regarding a published article are addressed through correction, expression of concern, or retraction in accordance with COPE guidelines.
