The umbilical scar - the adult remnant of the foetal umbilical cord insertion point - is traditionally viewed as a simple fi-brous cicatrix of no ongoing biological significance. This review challenges that view by synthesising evidence from devel-opmental anatomy, histochemistry, extracellular matrix biology, mesenchymal stem cell science, and bioelectricity re-search to argue that the adult umbilical scar constitutes a persistent, functionally distinct bioactive tissue niche whose unique properties have direct relevance to the mechanisms of Nabhi Chikitsa (Ayurvedic navel oil therapy). The review is the first systematic histological characterisation of the adult umbilical scar in the context of Nabhi therapeutic accessi-bility.

Oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) is a chronic, progressive, and potentially malignant disorder of the oral cavity characterized by juxta-epithelial inflammatory reaction and progressive fibrosis of the lamina propria and deeper connective tissues, leading to stiffness of the oral mucosa and limitation of mouth opening. The condition is predominantly reported in South and South east Asian populations and is strongly associated with the habitual use of areca nut, betel quid, and tobacco products [1, 4]. Clinically, OSMF presents with burning sensation of the oral mucosa, blanching, formation of fibrotic bands, intolerance to spi cy food, and progressive trismus [2, 3]

Serum protein electrophoresis (SPE) is an informative test primarily used to detect abnormalities in the gamma region, particularly to identify monoclonal immunoglobulins (M- proteins) in multiple myeloma (MM). MM is the second most common hematologic cancer, mainly affecting adults over 65. This study presents SPE results from routine laboratory check- ups in healthy Bulgarian adults.

People Living with HIV (PLHIV) have a higher risk of mental health issues than the public. HIV and related infections can affect the brain and the rest of the nervous system. This may change how a person thinks and behaves. In addition, some medications used to treat HIV may have side effects that affect a person's mental health [1]. HIV causes significant inflammation in the body. This inflammation can cause neurological complications by damaging the spinal cord and brain, which form the central nervous system. Despite effective Antiretroviral (ART), people with HIV are still at risk for central nervous system diseases associated with HIV. These diseases can be neurological (affecting the nervous system) or neurocognitive (affecting cognition or mental processing).

The results highlight the notetaking findings from the PISCES trial conducted by Dr. Charmaine E. Lok, who studied the impact of fish-oil supplementation on cardiovascular diseases among the haemodialysis patients. Between November 28, 2013, and July 22, 2019, 1,228 participants were under randomized case-study, with 610 assigned to the fish-oil group and 618 to the placebo group [1]. Over a follow-up period of 3.5 years, results showed a noticeable lower rate of serious cardiovascular diseases in the fish-oil group (0.31 vs. 0.61 per 1000 patient days), providing a hazard ratio of 0.57 (95% CI, 0.47 to 0.70; P
