Development of novel cryopreservation protocols is required to test novel chemical and non-chemical supplements in freezing extender for bee semen. Antioxidants demonstrate critical effects on post-thawed sperm quality, fertility, and subsequent embryo development. The purpose of the study was to determine of the effects of different concentrations of proline, cysteine and glutamine on some sperm quality and fertility of cryopreserved bee spermatozoa.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a Very Low-Calorie Ketogenic Diet (VLCKD) compared to a LowCalorie Diet (LCD) in the treatment of mildly obese patients. We aimed to highlight the difference in weight loss, compliance, physical activity levels and drop-out rates between the VLCKD group and the standard LCD one.

Fishing is considered a favorite pastime and source of living for many, but rare incidences can happen and end up in serious ocular injuries. Here we are presenting 3 cases of fish hook penetrating eye injuries for a year in Hospital Serdang, Malaysia. 2 of them were fishing while the third was a bystander.

: Aiming to evaluate the recent theoretical postulates on tinnitus underscoring the role of thalamocortical neural tracts, the present study 1) explores Middle Latency Response (MLR) as a possible physiological measure of tinnitus: thus investigates the predicted exaggeration of Pa-Na, Na-Pb interpeak amplitudes in tinnitus patients and 2) explores MLR as a prognostic indicator of Tinnitus Retraining Therapy: thus evaluates possible decrease in Pa-Na & Na-Pb amplitude after 2weeks exposure to Tinnitus Retraining Therapy.

Researchers have made it possible to estimate the length of bones from their fragments in recent times; therefore, the stature can be estimated from the length of the bones so derived. The length of long bones has been the major means through which stature estimates were made. This study aimed to compare the length estimates of the humerus from anatomical landmarks (variables) on the bone and x-ray radiographs of humerus in adult Nigerians.

Crime statistics estimate that males are responsible for 80% of violent crimes and those males commit approximately 95% of sexual offenses. Sexual assault crimes account for a large percentage of biological evidence submitted to forensic casework laboratories. Identifying, segregating, and analyzing male DNA in sexual assault and other evidence containing mixtures of male and female DNA presents a complex challenge.

Pantoprazole is a H+,K+-ATPase enzyme inhibitor for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal diseases. The Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO), Thailand had developed Pantoprazole GPO® (pantoprazole 40 mg delayed-release tablets) as a generic substitute for the corresponding innovator product, CONTROLOC® 40 mg.

The emergence of SARS-CoV-2 has resulted in > 36,361,054 infections and > 1,056,186 deaths worldwide. Using publicly available genome sequences of patient samples from different geographical regions, a study has been conducted to co-relate mutational frequency with disease transmission and fatality rate.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has be designated a pandemic less than 4 months after its first outbreak. Due to the novelty of the virus, there is little understanding of how ecological factors affect transmission of the coronavirus. This study aims to determine the relationship of temperature, absolute humidity, and health infrastructure on COVID-19 transmission and mortality.

Neonatal management of severe quadricuspid truncal valve insufficiency is very challenging with high risk of postoperative mortality. Aortic valve reconstruction is the unique rescue and should be consider and previously planned in case of truncal valvuloplasty failure. Many extracardiac malformations can be associated with truncus arteriosus, therefore a cardiac and chest computed tomography scan must be performed before the elective surgical repair.

In this paper we introduce an analytical approach to analyze mass and heat transport in heterostructures during manufacturing of integrated circuits with account nonlinearity of processes. The approach gives a possibility to analyze mass and heat transport in multilayer structures without crosslinking of solutions on interfaces between layers. The approach also gives a possibility to take into account spatial and temporal variation of parameters of considered processes. Based on this approach we analyzed manufacturing a current comparator to increase density of elements.

We report the case of 27 years old, female patient suffering from CKD (Stage 4) on Maintenance Hemodialysis. Dietary intervention was tailored for her using her past medical history and dietary intake. The dietary interventions were planned in 4 steps for 12 weeks that included nutritionally adequate food intake, Increase frequency of meals, modification & improvement in food preparation techniques, provision of educational material related to diet in dialysis.

This study was carried out to study the peculiarities of the topography, the macrostructure and the analysis of the structural and functional organization patterns of the parenchyma of the thyroid gland of dairy cows (local breed from the Souk Ahras region, Algeria). A complex of macroscopic and histological techniques was used, as well as immunohistochemical staining of thyroid gland sections to identify localization characteristics of thyrocyte populations in the parenchyma.

Hair is physical evidence recovered from crime scene which is not destroyed by exposure to any environmental conditions like heat, moisture and not even by decomposition. The study of hair is called trichology. Hair is divided into three different layers i.e. cuticle, medulla, cortex. Total 20 hair sample were evaluated for different cutting patterns using different cutting tools.

Adolescent is a period of rapid growth and development. Abnormally high and low BMI is a major problem of adolescents. This is mainly due to unhealthy life style of adolescents. Abnormally high and low BMI make adolescents vulnerable to teasing, bullying and resultant low self esteem. This would have detrimental effect on adolescents’ mental health. Hence this study was planned to determine existence of correlation between BMI and psychological variables Anxiety, Depression and Coping.

Autophagy is an abnormal physiological process in the body that deals with the destruction of cells in the body as it maintains homeostasis or normal functioning by protein degradation and turnover of the destroyed cell organelles for new cell formation. Non-essential parts like damaged proteins are recycled and invading microorganisms and toxic compounds are removed. As per the physiological process, if the human body does not undertake regular bouts of autophagy, process ends up with dysfunction, metabolically inflexible mitochondria.
