Objective: The aim of this project consists of the evaluation of the cell viability of adipose tissue (AT) harvested using
the Superficial Enhanced Fluid Fat Injection (SEFFI) procedure standardized by the Authors (AG, FPB). The harvesting
procedure was performed using two different cannulas having 0.8 mm and 1 mm side-port holes, respectively. Cells phe-
notype and ability to adhere to the plastic surface have been analysed. 'Ihe results have been compared to those recorded
in adipose tissue harvested using a liposuction system and processed with enzymatic digestion (collagenase).

Abstract
Purpose: In this article, we review main clinical trials reported in the past decade.
Methods: Stem cells are relatively undifferentiated, with unlimited proliferative ability; self-renewal capability and also they can
differentiate into specialized cells. Somatic stem cells in adult organisms are responsible for regenerating and self-renewing tissue,
Many different stem cell types reside in the eye.
Results: One of the most important stem cells is limbal stem cell that retains in an undifferentiated state and exists in an optimal
microenvironment or "niche". The importance of limbal stem cells in maintaining the corneal epithelium throughout life has long been
recognized. Furthermore, stem cells in the retina have been for treatment of the retinal degeneration, which generally results
in constant visual disturbance or even blindness.
Conclusion: This review will briefly focus on the principal stem cells in the eye especially limbal stem cells.

Introduction: Buccal mucosal urethroplasty has revolutionized the surgical management of urethral strictures but the success of the
procedure has been variable in different series. We have attempted to understand the interplay between buccal mucosal epithelial cells
(BME) and the fibroblasts at the molecular level using connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) as a marker so that translation of this
information would help in better urethroplasty outcomes.

In Brazil, the incidence of spinal cord injury (SCI) reaches 40 new cases/year/million. In other words, there are almost 6 to 8
thousand new cases per year, 80% of which are males, and 60% fall between the ages of 10 and 30.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) ranks as the third most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally, following lung cancer, in 2022 [1]. The etiology of CRC involves both environmental and hereditary factors, with environmental factors accounting for approximately 65% of CRC cases

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are a group of disorders that damage the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and the
muscles of mastication. They are commonly associated with parafunctional habits and clinical symptoms, such as headache, clicking, limitation of lateral movement, protrusion, and mouth opening, discomfort in the TMJ region, and vertigo

In recent years, gastrointestinal malignancies have ranked as the primary cause of cancer-related deaths across the globe. Despite remarkable progress in medical technology and treatment modalities, the majority of patients still experience local relapse and distant metastasis. It remains imperative to carry out in-depth investigations into the mechanisms underlying the occurrence and develpment of gastriointestinal tumours. Metabolic reprogramming

The objective of this study was to evaluate the bond strength of fiberglass posts cemented with Rely X U200 and Rely X Luting 2, with (A) and without (WA) ultrasonic activation in the root canal of bovine teeth. The penetration of the cements into dentine tubules was also assessed. Methods: Forty bovine incisors were selected and endodontically treated, and then divided into 4 groups (n = 10). Fiberglass posts were cemented with Rely X U200 and Rely X Luting 2 and activated with an ITSMO ultrasound insert in 2 groups; the other two groups received no ultrasonic activation. After 24 hours of cementation, the roots were sectioned into slices of approximately 1 mm each.

Globally, primary liver cancer ranks sixth in terms of morbidity among all cancer types, and it is the second most common tumor
of the digestive tract. Furthermore, it is responsible for the fourth highest number of cancer-related deaths [1]. Among the various
histological types of primary liver cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) exhibits the highest incidence rate

This study aims to identify the risk factors for axillary lymph node metastasis (ALNM) and establish a novel
nomogram for predicting the possibility of an ALNM model based on clinicopathological and characteristics of tumor
location. A three-dimensional(3D) model was also established to accurately describe the location of tumors prone to
axillary lymph node metastasis.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common malignant tumor, and hepatitis B virus (HBV) is the main pathogenic factor.
The occurrence of HBV-associated hepatocellular carcinoma (HBV-HCC) is a complex process caused by multi-gene and
multi-step interactions. The synergistic effect of multiple cancer-promoting mechanisms accelerates the evolution of the
disease from inflammation to tumorigenesis

Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor originating from gastric mucosal epithelium. And more than 90% of
them are gastric adenomas. At present, surgical treatment is the main method to cure gastric cancer. We found that many
genes may play a role in the occurrence and cell transformation of malignant in gastric cancer, including APOA2

Thyroid cancer (TC) is one of the most prevalent endocrine malignancies with an increasing incidence worldwide. Though
therapeutic effect is relatively good in the vast majority of TC patients, the anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) remains
one of the most malignant tumors. This study aimed to investigate the role of SETDB2, an epigenetic regulator, in the
dedifferentiation of TC cells

Oral submucous fibrosis is a potentially invasive condition which leads to lockjaw and inability to eat. The pervasiveness
rate oforal submucous fibrosis in India is 0.2-2.3% in males and 1.2-4.6% in females [II. Timely diagnosis and appropriate
treatment is necessary to cease the advancement. A case oforal submucous fibrosis occurring in 38year old male patient is
presented in this paper. The patient was advocated on the ill-effects of areca nut and chances of malignant transformation
and treatment was given for the same.

We present a case of total esophageal reconstruction with a free Jejunal flap in a patient with a history of esophagectomy and two previous
failed attempts at reconstruction. Despite the technique here described offers a reliable option when the stomach and colon are not
available, the success of the reconstruction might be compromised by the onset of a perforated ulcer at the gastric blind pouch related to
previows failed gastric pull-up (GPU) After a major reconstructive surgery of long hours, gastric pouch may develop ulcer with perforation
and fatal empyema due to Stress, although the severe complication is rare. Surgeons performing esophageal reconstruction should be
aware of the risks related to the presence of the blind pouch, The indications and limits of the reconstructive technique used as well as the
rapid development of this unexpected and severe complication are discussed.

lymphoproliferative disorders and opportunistic infections in IBD patients treated with immunomodulators is a concern,
EBV status. Combination therapy (thiopurines plus biologics such as anti-Tumour Necrosis Factor (TNF) agents) is perceived to
have higher complication rates and there is more concern about the risk of lymphoproliferative disease than for patients on single
modality therapy.
We present two reports of patients treated with combination therapy for IBD who presented with lymphoma within weeks of each
other and review the evidence for the increased risk with this therapy.
