Methods: Fifty-two critically ill patients admitted with septic shock divided into two groups, the first group received isotonic saline (control group) starch, while the second received hypertonic saline 5%.
Charles Bonnet Syndrome: Rapid Resolution of Visual Hallucinations with Low Dose Risperidone
Charles Bonnet syndrome (CBS) comprises of complex visual hallucinations secondary to visual impairment in the presence of preserved cognition. Age related macular degeneration and other factors causing visual deterioration lead to visual hallucinations in 10-15% of patients. Sensory deprivation and social isolation are risk factors for development of CBS. The distressing hallucinations are underreported by patients and to date there are no robust evidence based guidelines to manage these hallucinations. Since visual hallucinations are associated with multiple psychiatric disorders as well, these patients are often referred to mental health providers. Here, we present the case of CBS
development after macular degeneration. Rapid and sustained resolution of visual hallucinations and associated distress was observed with low dose Risperidone.
Hydroxyapatite Deposition Disease- Spontaneous Resolution of Significant Post Treatment Deposit
Calcific deposits are commonly seen on imaging done for other reasons. However, it can also present with periarthritis and adhesive capsulitis leading to severe disabling pain. Many theories have been proposed to explain the etiology and it is considered idiopathic by some. The management is also debatable, Barbotage being the most popular. In the majority of the cases it disappears spontaneously, requiring intervention like Barbotage and surgery only in a few cases. We present a case of a 45 year old female patient who had these calcific deposits in an unusual location of her right shoulder. These disappeared partially on conservative treatment. Subsequently, she developed severe pain in her right shoulder with restriction of all her movements. The pain was severe enough to interfere with her sleep. As a result she underwent barbotage. During the procedure an attempt was made to aspirate the calcific deposit in its entirety. This was not possible due to clogging of needle several times. There was complete resolution of pain following the procedure. However, post- procedure Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a significant residual calcification which completely resolved 02 months after therapy with no recurrence.
Adhesion of Aqueous Solution of TX-100 and TX-165 Mixture with Propanol to Quartz
The contact angle of aqueous solutions of TX-100 and TX-165 mixture with propanol on quartz was measured. Wetting of the quartz based on the surfactant mixtures and propanol adsorption at the solution-air, quartz-air and quartz-solution interfaces was analyzed from the obtained results.

Effects of Mutual Interaction between Constituent Elements on Phase Formation of High Entropy Alloys
High entropy alloys (HEAs) are alloys that contains multiple elements, often five or more principal elements in equiatomic or near equiatomic ratio with or without minor elements. As felt from the name, high mixing entropy is the sole parameter to decide the solid solution alloy formation in HEAs but, the mutual interaction between elements are key parameters to predict the phase formation in HEAs as proposed by some researchers. In this review the guideline for alloy design in HEAs for the formation of solid solution phases are proposed on basis of atomic size difference (δ), mixing entropy (ΔSmix), mixing enthalpy (ΔHmix), valence electron concentration (VEC) and electronegativity difference (Δχ).

Croscarmellose Sodium Efficiency in the Development of a Generic Capsule Formulation of Piroxicam, Comparable Dissolution Profile to the Innovator Product, Feldene
The objective of this study was to evaluate the encapsulation performance of Croscarmellose sodium, a superdisintegrant in a low-dose, poor-solubility drug formulation and the in-vitro dissolution performance of the Piroxicam capsules. Preparation, characterization and evaluation of the effects of the different concentrations of carmellose sodium and the amount of dried starch on in-vitro dissolution of Piroxicam capsules. Piroxicam was chosen for its very low solubility in biological fluids, which result in poor systemic bioavailability after oral administration. Piroxicam can be categorized as Class II drugs according to the Biopharmaceutics Classification System.
Wet Granulation to Overcome Liquisolid Technique Issues of Poor Flowability and Compactibility: A Study to Enhance Glibenclamide Dissolution
The aim of this study is to apply wet granulation on liquisolid powders to overcome issues of poor powder flowability and compressibility especially with using high viscosity liquid vehicles. Different liquisolid formulations were made using three excipients where the effect of each excipient used in the dissolution of the model hydrophobic drug (Glibenclamide) was evaluated. The Glibenclamide tablets were formulated using PEG 400, Synperonic PE/L44 and Cremophor ELP, at a 10 %w/w in liquid vehicle drug concentration. The carrier (Avicel®PH102) was used followed by colloidal silicon dioxide (coating material) that converted the wet mixture into dry powder. Potato starch, 5%w/w, as a disintegrant was mixed with the mixture manually for 10 minutes and was finalized by adding 0.75% of magnesium stearate as a lubricant.

differentiation composed carcinoma. Clinicopathologically, it exists on the gastric cardia/fundus, with low proliferative activity and
low-grade malignancy. Until now, there has been no report of this GA-FG type cancer in the duodenum.
Preparation of Large Area Anodic Alumina Membranes and their Application to Thin Film Fuel Cell
