Background: Calprotectin (CPL) is a marker of neutrophil-induced inflammation and pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2) is a
marker of cancer. Objective: Assess whether the addition of PKM2 detection to the measurement of CPL in saliva could improve the detection of cancer or severe chronic inflammation.

Background: Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a common cause of hospital visits in Yemen, but treatment is increasingly
complicated by widespread antimicrobial resistance. Reliable data from urology departments in Sana’a are scarce, making
empirical therapy challenging for clinicians

This retrospective chart review aimed to assess the efficacy of compounded semaglutide, the active ingredient of
an FDA-approved weight loss drug for patients with obesity, for weight loss in otherwise healthy, regular, and overweight
people (BMI < 29.9). Additionally, a novel method to declare the ideal or target weight, which bridges the difference in body
composition, bone structure and sex is proposed. Achieving a target weight is also proposed to measure the success of the
elective weight loss (EWL™) program.

Neural implants have revolutionized neurology and neuroscience by offering novel therapeutic avenues for neurological dis
orders and functional restoration. However, their efficacy is often compromised by neuroinflammation, a complex and mul
tifaceted response that adversely affects device performance and longevity. Understanding the mechanisms underlying neu
roinflammation and its impact on neural implants are critical for developing strategies to mitigate these effects. Advances in
biocompatible biomaterials and implant technologies, informed by neuroinflammatory research, hold promise for reducing
immune reactivity and enhancing device functionality. Machine learning and novel signal processing methods are two of
the most important recent advancements in software technology that have contributed to this quick progress. Application
development in neuroscience is increasing as artificial intelligence (AI) systems get more sophisticated, effective, and quick.
AI has the potential to enhance neural implant signal processing methods, such as the brain's interpretation of electrical im
pulses. The quality of life and long-term outcomes for people with neurological disorders may improve as a result of these
important advancements in neurotechnology

The evolution of information technology has brought enormous changes in people’s lives.
These changes have led to enhance the quality of life of individuals, but it has its own
loopholes. This can be witnessed in terms of the origin of cyber-crimes in the society.
Computer and internet-oriented crimes are referred to as cyber-crimes

Subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) is a biochemical disorder characterized by elevated serum thyroid-stimulat
ing hormone (TSH) with normal free thyroxine (FT4) levels, in the absence of clinical symptoms. The prevalence of SCH is
approximately 1.7% in the pediatric population. Several prognostic factors influence the progression to overt hypothy
roidism (OH), which requires lifelong therapy and follow-up. These factors include goiter, elevated TSH levels, positive thy
roid antibodies, and obesity. Obesity may also contribute to the development of SCH, making weight loss and monitoring of
TSH levels important. The study aimed to assess the role of the change in BMI classification as a prognostic factor for the
spontaneous healing of SCH

Background: Olive oil, particularly extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), is a key component of the Mediterranean diet and has
been associated with reduced mortality and lower incidence of age-related diseases. Its rich content of monounsaturated fat
ty acids (MUFA) and polyphenolic compounds such as hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein suggests a multifactorial role in pro
moting healthy aging and longevity.
Methods: A narrative review was conducted by synthesizing data from mechanistic studies, epidemiological cohorts, ran
domized controlled trials (RCTs), and meta-analyses published over the past two decades. Databases including PubMed,
Scopus, and Web of Science were searched for studies examining the effects of olive oil on aging biomarkers, chronic dis
ease risk, and mortality.

The subsiding of the COVID-19 pandemic and the various effects it could have on the health of infected patients in the long
term have prompted researchers to conduct studies in this field. One of the most notable issues is the finding of a relation

Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis are major agents of nosocomial infections and exhibit high levels of antimicrobial resistance. e CRISPR/Cas system functions as a bacterial defense mechanism against mobile genetic elements, such as phages and plasmids, and may be the acquisition of resistance genes. s study aimed to investigate the presence, diversity, and functional implications of the CRISPR/Cas system in complete genomes of S. aureus and S. epidermidis, including its relationship with integrated bacteriophages, anti-CRISPR genes, and antimicrobial resistance genes. A total of 30 complete genomes from each species were analyzed, all retrieved from the NCBI database
