WLAN (wireless local area network) is used as an important worldwide communication-technique. By this, always there is an electromagnetic field exposure. In contrast to the ICNIRP-safety guidelines, whereby no bioeffect is possible by these low-energetic electromagnetic fields, we found artificial signals in the nervous system in dependence on WLAN- exposure.

Patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), mainly those who live under poor sanitary and socioeconomic conditions, are often diagnosed with Gastrointestinal (GI) tract diseases. The lowest CD4+ T-cell counts are not found in the plasma, but in the GI tract, the biggest HIV source, thus allowing opportunistic infections. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to identify the epidemiological factors of GI infections and the prevalent pathogens in HIV patients from Porto Velho City, Rondônia State.

Morocco applied the Goals testing model, projecting alternative testing scale-up scenarios, varying coverage targets for 13 adult populations. The model was calibrated using program service delivery, spending and surveillance data (2015-2019), integrated bio-behavioural surveys, and national HIV estimates. Despite intravenous (IV) catheters being among the most common invasive clinical devices used in a hospital setting, they are associated with complication rates up to 50% in large medical centers. High patient burden combined with enormous costs to the healthcare system necessitates improvement in IV catheter safety and utilization.

It was a cross-sectional study including 434 apparently healthy subjects (194 males) divided into two groups: i) obese (BMI ≥ 30 Kg/m²) and ii) non-obese (BMI < 30 Kg/m²). Exclusion criteria were: current smokers, asthma, medicine intake interfering with FeNO levels, and abnormal lung function tests. The FeNO measurements were performed before spirometry. Student t test was performed to compare between the two groups. The Spearman correlation between BMI and FeNO levels was evaluated. The Piecewise linear regression with breakpoint was assessed to define the breakpoint of inflammation related to obesity.

The heel fat pad cushioning is the result of its structure, shape, thickness. Its morphological modifications due to changes in the amount or distribution of the loads normally sustained by the foot can be disturbed and can result in heel pain. The heel fat pad was found to have a crest on its anterior dorsal surface, flanges on both sides and posteriorly, and a thick portion that reached and covered the posterior surface of the calcaneus and the Achilles tendon insertion. Its anterior internal portion is thinner, and a lump of fat is consistently present in this region [1].

This study aimed at identifying the evaluation of students with physical disabilities of distance education in Jerusalem schools during the COVID-19 pandemic period. The fruit of Crataegus dahurica Koehne ex C.K. Schneid is an edible wild fruit and herb for the treatment of various diseases. However, few studies were conducted to search the chemical constituents of the edible herb. In the present study, a new glycoglycerolipid (1), together with ten known compounds, 2-oxo pomolic acid (2), cecropiacic acid (3), nikoenoside (4), garcimangosone D (5), ampelopsisionoside (6), saussureosides B (7), 6-O-[(2E, 6S)-2, 6-dimethyl-6-hydroxy-2, 7-octadienoyl]-α-D-glucopyranoside (8), 6-O-[(2E, 6S)-2, 6-dimethyl6-hydroxy-2, 7-octadienoyl]-β-D-glucopyranoside (9), betulalbuside A (10), quercetin (11), were isolated from the fruits of C. dahurica with various chromatographic techniques.

Intramucosal lipomas are rare colonic polyps that pose diagnostic challenges, but they are important as potential clues to serious medical conditions. One third of intramucosal lipomas are reported to arise in Cowden syndrome, an inherited cancer syndrome.

A 51 year old female was referred to our dermatology clinic for a rapidly growing lump on head of 6 weeks duration. On examination we observed a 15 cm diameter erythematous crusted tumor on the forehead with significant bilateral cervical lymphadenopathy. An excision biopsy of the tumor revealed a malignant high grade diffuse undifferentiated infiltrating neoplasm involving the skin and subcutaneous tissue.
