: Ammonia is corrosive and exposure will result in a chemical-type burn. It is highly hygroscopic and readily transforms the moist areas of the body such as eyes, nose, throat, and moist skin areas. It is a highly toxic irritant gas, and its toxicity usually occurs from occupational exposure, most are unintentional toxicity. It causes tissue damage via exothermic reaction with body tissues causing liquefactive necrosis. Release of ammonia has potentially for harmful effects on workers and the public. Although there have been incidents of exposure to harmful concentrations of ammonia in the world there have been few fatal accidents.Presentation depends on the level and duration of exposure. Management is supportive and its antidote is not available yet

Poultry farming is widely recognized as a highly efficient technique of animal husbandry, contributing significantly to the nutritional security of a substantial portion of the global population. The application of contemporary intensive farming methods has facilitated a notable increase in global production, which has reached a substantial quantity of 137.8 million tons in the year 2021. This upward trajectory has been consistently observed over successive years. However, these aggressive growth tactics result in a substantial environmental impact. The appropriate management of waste items, such as poultry litter and manure, is crucial due to their potential to significantly impact both environmental and human health. The emissions of ammonia, nitrous oxide, and methane are associated with poultry production and the disposal of its waste by-products. These emissions have significant implications for global greenhouse gas emissions, as well as the well-being of both animals and humans

The optimal design of heliostat field in solar power generation device is studied Heliostat field generates high temperature by focusing the sunlight reflected from the mirror surface, thus pushing the turbine to generate electricity. In order to improve the efficiency of power generation, this paper optimizes the parameters of heliostat field, establishes a singleobjective optimization model, and uses mixed strategy whale optimization algorithm to solve it. Through geometric optical analysis and ray tracing model, the optical efficiency of heliostat field and the annual average output thermal power per mirror area are calculated. Finally, through the discussion and analysis of the model, the optimization design method is evaluated.

The vibrations of carbon nanotubes under the influences of various internal and external forces have been subjects of interests for some years. These researches have not really considered the effects of surface energy and initial stress which are very important from both material and mechanical aspects of views. Therefore, the current study presents the simultaneous impacts of surface energy, initial stress and nonlocality and other various parameters on the nonlinear vibration of carbon nanotube hot fluid-conveying resting on elastic foundations in a magnetic environment. The derived equations governing the behaviours are solved using Galerkin’s decomposition-Adomian decomposition method is adopted to explore the concurrent impacts of surface elasticity, initial stress, residual surface tension and nonlocality on the nonlinear vibration of singlewalled carbon conveying nanotube resting on linear and nonlinear elastic foundation and operating in a thermo-magnetic environment

Candida albicans is an opportunistic agent that can produce systemic infections in immunosuppressed patients. (Jarilla) is a widely spread plant in America and it is used in folk medicine to treat several pathologies. It has been shown that antibodies against Jarilla proteins of crude extract (JPCE) cross-react with proteins of other microorganisms such as Gram-negative bacteria.

A cross-sectional study was conducted to assess food habits among college students at Kuwait University (KU) utilizing a written questionnaire, targeting first year to higher education level regardless of age. Participants were recruited from different colleges (n=678) (73%, females, and 27% males) with a response rate of 98.8%. Data showed that 48.6% buy their foods from campus, and 38.2% of them eat in college daily. The taste was the most influential factor that is affecting food choices (53.7%), while only 2.9% of students considered cost as an important element

Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a key excipient in formulation and production of pharmaceutical solid dosage forms such as tablets. In this study, the microcrystalline cellulose (Novicel™) obtained from sugarcane bagasse (a waste material from sugarcane factories) was compared with Avicel PH 101 (a commercially available MCC) for its physicochemical characteristics and potential as a dry binder in direct compression of ascorbic acid tablets.
