Eczema herpeticum (EH) is a skin infection caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV) that occurs in individuals with atopic
dermatitis. It is characterized by the sudden appearance of vesicles and erosions with crusts over areas affected by eczema.
EH can range from mild and self-limiting in healthy adults to life-threatening in children, infants, and immunocompromised patients. Early treatment with antiviral therapy is crucial in preventing complications and mortality. EH is primarily
caused by a superinfection of HSV, usually HSV-1, in individuals with atopic dermatitis. Reactivation of HSV is more common than primary infection. Patients with atopic dermatitis are more susceptible to skin infections due to impaired skin barrier function and immune dysregulation. Disseminated cutaneous HSV infection can also occur in individuals with other
forms of dermatitis, known as Kaposi varicelliform eruption (KVE)

The primary donor sites for collecting bone in the oral cavity to replace missing ridges are the mandibular symphysis or ramus. Although successful, these bone transplants can nevertheless raise a number of issues, including donor site morbidity,
nerve paresthesia, the devitalization of native teeth, and postoperative sequelae . Allogeneic block grafts were developed to
address these concerns and a lack of autogenous intraoral bone available for grafting

Rapid data collection can provide an insight into causation, the socio-cultural reality, and complex social processes. This is
especially important in disease outbreaks when information is quickly required on local needs that is essential for success.
Quantitative data alone are not sufficient to provide an in-depth understanding. The challenge is to use a rapid data collection
approach that can provide practical solutions by integrating the available evidence, professional expertise, and stakeholder
experiences. This viewpoint reflects the opinions of the author that highlight the strengths and weaknesses of rapid
data collection and the presentation of an approach that can be implemented with minimal interference in a health promotion
and healthcare program context

Justificative: This trial was conducted in order to register a new generic product of Rivaroxaban.
Objective: To evaluate the bioequivalence of rivaroxaban formulations manufactured by Eurofarma Laboratórios S/A and
the reference drug, Xarelto (Bayer) under fasting and fed conditions.
Methods: Three randomized, open label, balanced, 2 treatments, 4 periods, 2 sequences, single dose, full replicate, crossover
studies in 48 healthy adult human subjects under fed and fasting conditions for rivaroxaban 10 mg and 20 mg. Rivaroxaban
concentrations in plasma were determined using a validated HPLC-MS/MS method.

Pyoderma gangrenosum is a rare ulcerating skin disease often presenting as an extra intestinal manifestation of IBD and is
difficult to manage. Treatment options for pyoderma gangrenosum include steroids, calcineurin inhibitors and anti TNF
agents. Here in, we report a case of recurrent Pyoderma gangrenosum with Ulcerative Colitis that was successfully managed
with Tofacintib, a JAK inhibitor

The BDNF/TrkB signaling is a robust regulatory feature of neuronal cells that promotes survival, differentiation, and proliferation in a variety of cell types and animal models for neurodegenerative diseases. The activation of TrkB by BDNF in clinical trials is accompanied by remarkable side effects and appears to be challenging due to BDNF's adverse molecular profile

A study on the feed intake and in vivo digestibility of dominant forages on natural pasture supplemented with Acacia albida
leaves in Arab ewes was conducted from September to October 2020 at the small ruminant station of the Livestock Research
Institute for Development (IRED) in N'Djamena, Chad. Sixteen (16) Arab ewes were divided into four groups of four animals
each and housed in individual metabolic cages. The adaptation and data collection (urine and feces) periods were 14
and 6 days, respectively

Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis (LCV) characterizes various small vessel vasculitis types primarily affecting the skin, with occasional internal organ involvement. This inflammation involves immune-complex deposition within dermal capillaries and
venues. Although idiopathic in origin, potential triggers, including antibiotic-related factors, must be considered. LCV presents across a spectrum of severity, sometimes extending to ulcers. Diagnosis involves clinical assessment, history, lab tests,
and crucially, skin biopsy.

ALS is a fatal neurodegenerative condition characterized by degeneration of upper and lower motor neuron in cerebral cortex, cranial nerve nuclei and anterior horn cells of spinal cord. Three drugs are FDA approved, Riluzole, Edaravone and
AMX0035 (recently approved), which can only prolong survival time by 2-3 months.

The impression is a key stage in the success of the prosthetic process. Taking an impression remains the most
difficult and delicate phase in the prosthetic chain. The aim of this study was to assess the attitude and knowledge of dental
surgeons regarding impression taking in dental practices in Burkina Faso.

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is considered as the most common pediatric malignancy with 80% of frequency in children between 1 and 10 years old. With the evolution of science, improved diagnosis and adapted treatment, all survival rates
increased to a possibility of 80%.
Philadelphia chromosome like acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph-Like ALL) is a recent genetic discovery characterized by a
gene expression profile and high frequency of IKZF1 gene alteration similar to that of BCR-ABL1 positive ALL with a poor
outcome.

This study compared the dosimetric characteristics of Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and volumetric
modulated arc therapy (VMAT) techniques regarding target volume coverage and dose to heart, spinal cord, and lung for
patients with breast cancer. We analyzed the dosimetric differences of plans in the treatment planning system (TPS) between IMRT and VMAT in treating breast cancer. The aim of this study is to compare the dosimetric aspects of IMRT plans
with VMAT according to EMAMI, QUANTEC, and RTOG protocols

The study aimed to assess the attitudes toward dental and oral health of parents of children receiving anti-cancer
treatment. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was based on a convenience sample of parents of 50 pediatric patients who
were receiving anti-cancer treatment (study group) and 62 parents of healthy children (control group). Questionnaires were
distributed to assess awareness towards oral and dental care.

Covid-19 caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which hit the world
in December 2019 is one of the worst medical emergencies people have ever encountered. Human angiotensin I converting
enzyme 2 (ACE2) is the entry path of this virus to the host that regulates the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS).
Hypothesis: Susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 infection may be affected by ACE rs4646994 and ACE2 rs2285666 polymorphisms.

Carbon nanocomposites deposition under toluene irradiation through transparent glass by nanosecond infrared laser radiation at ambient conditions was experimentally investigated. The dependence of deposited coatings thickness on the laser
pulse duration and absorbed energy amount is revealed. The atomic force microscope, scanning electron microscope and
modulation interference microscope are employed to definition deposited films morphology. The average nanocomposites
thickness on a glass substrate increases with the number of laser pulses. Raman spectroscopy was used to determine allotropic modification of synthesized nanocomposites. Raman spectra analysis confirms the presence of significant amount sp3
fraction and some sp2 fraction.
