Forensic Odontology is the means to identify a person from their dental remains. Various methods are there for identifying an individual. In this study, the main aim is to identify an edentulous person making a positive identification by means of Barcode. A Barcode is a machine-readable code in the form of numbers and a pattern of parallel lines of varying widths, printed on a commodity. The study focuses on creating dentures with identification marks/labels using patient’s identity proofs such as Aadhar Card, PAN card, Voter ID card. And these will be incorporated in the denture after acrylization using cost effective and minimally altering method. This is an attempt to incorporate identity marks in dentures that can be provided by a General Dental Practitioner on day-to-day basis.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease that affects patients’ lung function and thus exercise tolerance. Elderly patients have shown to have more severe and long-term symptoms after contracting COVID-19. Limited evidence has been published on the effectiveness of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programme for elderly patients recovered from COVID-19. Therefore, the aim of this study was to launch and evaluate the effectiveness of a communitybased cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programme.

During the pandemic of Covid-19, pregnant women experience all concerns of pregnancy, physical and mental changes, Covid-19 and its complications, and medical warnings that pregnant women are at high risk. Using an extensive search, all databases including Medline, Web of Science, and Scopus, database were searched. We used of keywords COVID-19, neonatal mortality, neonatal morbidity, pregnancy outcome, or combining these words.

The current case report illustrates role of vigilant laboratory services that helped in unmasking asymptomatic HbE variant in a middle aged known diabetic woman who came as an outdoor patient and on subsequent HbA1c testing was found to have lower value -2.9 %. It triggered extensive workup after looking for common causes and an electrophoresis of Hemoglobin revealed HbE variant.

Levofloxacin, a broad-spectrum, third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic, is rarely reported to cause life-threatening adverse effects, such as severe hypoglycemia resulting in coma. We report a rare case of hypoglycemia in an elderly non- diabetic patient induced by levofloxacin. A 61-year-old male patient was admitted with severe hypoglycemia. His past medical history revealed treatment with levofloxacin for pneumonia.

The present work aims to study a convenient and environmentally friendly method for the green synth of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs based on lemon juice extract. The biomolecules contained in lemon extract act as self- reducing and stabilizing agents. The optimal solution for the synthesis of AgNPs was determined by varying silver nitrate concentrations. A surface plasmon resonance system identified the synthesized silver nanoparticles by their color change from colorless to dark brown.
